i got an idea from my gf's cousin. he has a large scale remote control R34 skyline so i was thinking we could make a track around our theme? would be easy just get some black plastic flooring and paint it into a track. put some lil cars on there and race em. do it japan style.

just curious wats the occasion? this isn't the autosalon thing is it? its just a normal meetup or are we master minding some evil schemes?

that car is freaking hot!!! i would go with a CA18 or a turbo starlet engine. otherwise keep it all NA and put a Suzi G13B and work the nuts off it. that way the whole engine and car stays nice and light.

great turnout, great cruise, probably my most enjoyable cruise for a long time. weather rained for a sec but was all good after. NO ACCOs so you all owe me $50 will post pics up tonight and a video footage hopefully.

Hey guys, im looking for a SAU member who has installed a Bosch 040 or 023 in a R33 GTST before. i had it installed before by my mechanic but i dont think it was done properly and they are located a bit far and its a bit of an inconvience to drop the car off there again so im looking for anyone in the Penrith (Western Sydney) or the Shire (Suthorland, Menai) area who wouldn't mind making a quick $$ to have this problem resolved once and for all. the problems im getting is a loud high pitch electronic sound after ive been driving the car for an hour or so. Also i can't let the fuel drop to less than 50% capacity because the fuel pump wont grab the last remaining fuel (means i have to fill up at half tank all the time which sucks ). if anyone can lend us a hand either please reply back on this thread or PM me. cheers!!! :sorcerer:

i asked this question to ppl who already bought turbos off this one seller. most of them right up positive feedback because they recieved not because they had it installed. anyways i emailed a few ppl and most of them said that the turbos are good for low boost applications (around 7-9psi) and that they are cheap chinese copies. i would stay away because last thing you want is one of these blowing up and then having to spend twice as much getting a new turbo and fixing any problems the blown turbo caused.

its not like it hasn't been done before. spears point cruise back in 2004, TD yearly the year after, some Hot4s cruise in 2005. they were hugh turnouts and all around that area. we are expecting cops, we all know they read these forums but seriously if you dont do anything wrong then its all good. there was a cruise to the city only a few weeks back, got over 250+ cars in Homebush P6 all the way to george street. there were undercover cops there and from what i heard only those doing burnouts got done. didnt hear or any defects or anything else. btw name changed to sound more appealing.

hehe i dont really plan on going more than 180km/h, lose my licence and i lose the car so its not worth it (green p plater). yeh i got the BOV 2nd hand it didn't cost me much, i dont think mods like bovs and electronic gizmos are worth getting new cause they dont break that often. plus i like the sound this GFB makes, its like someone cracked a whip out hehe. i would have got a PFC if my coils were ok but yeh they were quite bad. the car is just smooth, real smooth after the coils so i should be thankful ive been in too many rough turbo cars that they make you wanna go VTEC yo! ill take it down the 1/4 and see how i go. cheers.

Taso84 your mistaken with a few of the things u said. i didn't upgrade to aftermarket parts if it wasn't needed. everything i replaced on the car was because it needed to be. eg: coils were crapping themselves, bov was leaking, exhaust was too small (and its a turbo back btw, big Xforce dump pipe), hks fuel cut defender was cheap cause i got it 2nd hand and needed it cause anything over 10psi the car was cutting out all power and i didnt' want to go spend another grand on a PFC. if money wasn't an option i would have got a GTR to begin with, but 21 and full time uni student means i dont make that much. its running well atm so i might leave it like it is until my funding inceases.

well the day has been set, the place decided so if any of you wish to join us for a cruise then your more than welcome. like everyother central coast cruise ive been on they've been really good fun so hopefully this will be the same and as for cops there'll be no need for them if everyone behaves.

i got the feeling most of the problem has to do with the dyno which sucks because like someone said unless you go to the same one ull never know how much of an increase you had. the dyno at DRC showed only 147rwkw WTF? 2 days before it read 174 on another dyno and again prior to any mods it read 160rwkw completely stock. makes u wonder how good their tuning is if they can't get an accurate reading on their dyno :S

you guys are taking it too seriously. its just a normal cruise if anything its a good excuse/reason to organise a cruise since no one does anymore. if u dont wanna come then dont, but its just a normal cruise and everyone will be on best behaviour {fingers crossed}. and to the beema yes u can come hehe.

yeh that sucks big time man i would definantly chase it up. i got a parking ticket once but i guess it was kinda my fault. parking at uni should to be free and they made us sign a contract saying that till 2007 we use one parking sticker. then at the start of 2nd year they introduced parking fees. if you didn't have this FREE sticker then it was $1 a day, thats now gone up to $4 a day and $50 for a yearly pass. i thought it was bs so i scanned my mates sticker that he paid for and used that for a while. 2 weeks before the end of the year i was caught (the paper turned from yelllow to white due to the sun hahaha) but yeh it was only a $70 fine. even though its my fault, i still hate them. when we die our tombstones should say what profession we did during our life. that way all the parking inspectors can be dug up, pissed on and thrown into a hole with rotting animals like the ones they are.
