yeah I was having a good day as well, took 2.5 sec out of my PB b4 I dropped a cyl, oh and trashed the rear shocks. anyhow perfect timing, heading coming off and getting it set up for next year now. anyhow..time to find a car for deca now.

well what I did and much cheaper. if the motor turns over, go to the local autobahn, (there is one in sunbury) and buy a compression tester and a spark plug remover.. then u not only ahve an asset u can use again but you saved money. oh and don't think racv do comp test, State roads do, but not sure if they do inspections on a sunday. http://stateroads.com.au/ cheers M

Al yes your in skyline class. however they then split ppl into about 5 groups for the track depending on speed. so last time myself (in the 200sx) and a R33 were on street tyres..(and lots less power than u) and were 1:42-1:46ish if that helps at all? M

ask around on the day, quite a few will have a spare. I know I will have one so if they do a couple pass lap's days he/she can borrow mine! (well if the missus not in the car with me at the same time!)

Well my entry is in. and Remember Folks this is the last round of the Club championship this year, so if you were thinking of coming out to play now is your last chance! Zaver, there are usually 5-6 groups during the day that take it in turns on the track, (to keep numbers at a managble level.) and cars are groups roughly by speed. plus one for Driver training. (this usually has the last number in it so less ppl on the track) so DT gets the same amount of track time as all the other cars. plus cost less!

hmm not sure how up to date these are, I don't agree with any of the Encryption or hashing algorithm strengths mentioned in them.

Crap I fly in like 48 hours later! oh well will have to make do with the real thing at winton on the 10th!

so it was about a 1.5 hour drive from heathrow, (in a 1.6 focus) with free parking. general entry was 48 pounds, (roughly 100$) this must be purchased in advance no tickets at the gate. that gets you entry to the pits, the supercar paddock, and both the hill climb and the Forrest stages, (basically everything but the grand stand and corp tents) there were 350 cars/bikes there with a combined value of 275 million Pounds, and they were all racing! It's a 3 day event, and every car/bike gets 2 runs a day each in their class, eg pre war F1, modern F1, Le Mans, supercar, bikes, EV. plus displays from the red arrows. and you could just wander up to any point of the track and there would rarely be more than 1 or 2 deep spectators. other than in a few places like the start line. Plus there was a retail area for lots of aftermarket things, model cars, plus all the manufactures.
