So I was lucky enough to get a chance to go to the Goodwood Festival of speed this year. For those of you that's don;t know it, basiclly they invite the owners of lots of classic race cars (as well as modern ones) as well as all the current supercar manufactures to bring their cars along for a show and to thrash them up the hill climb stage: Goodwood website so lots of pretty metal ranging from old school F1 through to Zonda/Veyron and even a Holden Commodore and R35 Spec V. plus a few notable drivers, Lewis hamilton, Sir Stirling moss, (in a Merc SLR Stirling moss ed) Jenson Button, Sebastian Loeb, and even a few nascar drivers better yet you can get very up close and personal to the cars in the pits. really a car event for true car enthusiasts, and no drunken jobs being idiots like you would get here anyhow I took a "few" pics if your interested My Goodwood pics and some tasty samples:

Yeah watched the ep live and it was a fake. Basiclly one of the real stigs outed himself in the off season..so TopGear decided to have some fun outing him themselves.

um dude Geelong is not in Melbourne it's a separate town http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source...e=UTF8&z=10 85km so if u taking it expect at least a $200 fare each way prob more. much cheaper to hire a car for the day

Speak with Tim Williamson (forum name vsute) his Brother and Dad were at the last deca with a very impressive set-up. there should be some examples of their work posted this week to give you an example. cheers M

well the DD days have some pro drivers giving you indepth instructions. these will ahve some people who know the track give you some tips.. so really depends on what you looking for you will learn more from a DD day...but you pay more as well.. but won't get points in the club championship either! M

you get own3d and put in your place: the things u see when out and about, and there were cops about so I couldn't go give him a back hand.

these generally have to be mounted within reach whilst you are still in your seat. most ppl seem to mount them to the bolt that holds the base of the rear seat on.

Gee and here I was happy with a 1.33 at sandown first time out, street tyres, only mods swaybars, pod and zorst and boost restrictor removed. looking forward to gradually modding it and dropping those times. so long as I keep posting PB's I'll be happy..
