possibly be a good idea to get the computer checked or look at getting a aftermarket power fc or something similer, japanese computers seem to have alot of timing in them and plenty of fuel my GTR was looked after by garagesuaras in japan and made near 500hp with 2530's at 16psi to find plenty of timing in the tune and some damaged bearings, changing to a power fc making similer power with another 3 or 4 psi

Made 473hp at 20psi on 36degree day with 51degree intake on a mild tune
Previously made 390hp 22degree 20degree intake with a Garagesauras tune at 10-12psi with loads of timing
New coil packs and cam gears and more aggressive tune should see more HP
car has managed a 11.7 with top mph of 120 in 37degree day
will post dynographs
hahaha Av I never knew you used sau
hardcore is good if you are interested in leaning out but remember to drink alot of water because it will dehydrate you, use it in a cycle and it should be effective but maintain your diet and carb intake also otherwise it will be pointless,
I thought I'd voice my opinion
I've got a modified GT-R and spent abit of cash rebuilding it new block gearboxes ect ect and driven it 15000km last 2 years and its being good fun as a weekend car and even thought iv spent loads of cash ill never regret it,
I've got a bunky during the week
This combo works good, go the gt-r mate there gorillas you'll never look back, and proberly couldnt when u launch it hahah
Depending on how you change and what clutch you have can factor in how long your box will last, power shouldnt matter unless your going over 600rwhp and wanting to blast gears
I destroyed box1 with 390rwhp with exedy twin plate shifting to fast and dropping the clutch
I destroyed box2 with morehp with the same clutch shortly after the drags, first started the noises from box then bang when i shifted
The third box has being fine and lastest for ages because iv treated it nice and shifted normal ..
once there into gear there fine
treat it with love and your fine
I'd budget around 7-8k safe, the gasket kit, headgasket, pistons, bearings, block and head work plus labour will pull upto to that easy, not to mention a clutch or ecu ..
I did the works on my gtr cost near 15k...
Not sure dude about the torque, I'm running 120mph at the moment at 16psi and I'll be putting a tune in shortly with 21 psi so abit of torque would be getting made
First time I shifted like a animal and the syncro's were shagged
Second time the damage was done at the drags shifting abit faster than normal and dropping the clutch abit to quick
clutch setup is a exedy twin plate, first time round it was a hks twin plate
This third box I've had for awhile now and change like a granny and its being great, once the gear is engaged nothing should blow up its getting it in there that is important
