Hey there, Iam happy to buy oneif some one can install it for me. Taking the amp. off the back and strut brace off and trying to clamp this thing in to the battery looks like fun i dont want to have,,...just like getting into bed with a fatty......not that some people like it... Hey Slow, Fuel pump was upgraded 2 months ago to nismo item Injectors are being upgraded at the end of next month to 700cc Sard I will have both for u if u wait,if u cant fuel pump will cost you ,$400. Both are off a 96GTR33 If you can wait you can have the lot for $1000 PM me if you are interest

Paul It was not the purpose of this thread, I knew the function of turbos and how they worked Pipe names, terminology used was more my interest. Sizes were also important showing us volume and turbine speed Anyway thanks again for the input guys

You know, f**k it. I am buying the apexi com.avcr boost controler,injectors,turbos and going to produce 1000 horses at the fly wheel.. Bring it on epa.... If Australia can sell coal overseas, stick their fingers up at all the other countries of the world and refuse emission targets set ,so will i... Im gonna make noise and consume lots of fuel doin it .... f**k i just sounded like an American..... See or chat to you later

Where do you think they got the rev from then.?(from mid air).. The manufacturer states the power of the car and they work out at what rev is 75% of the power produced. The rev is then canculated...noise...is then tested. I thought i was there to get a noise test conducted...they were just looking for how much power i had . You see guys....we did not pay the government $100,000 for being able to have that power on the road. We did not buy a 911,ferrari,masa. and they are upset . I have heard a few of these cars and believe me they are loud , but you dont see them getting epa test.

When the sound test was conducted, which i though was stupid, my car was at 5100rpm. This is an incorrect test.The epa are assuming the vehicle is 206kw which i stated was not a correct figure to be working with to start off with The revs are at 75 %peak power. At 5100rpm i have more than 206 kws at the flywheel... How stupid is that believing the japanese gentlemans agreemant to be gospel, My ecu had been modified in japan and tuned for there stupid 110r fuel. The inspecting officer...mechanic... was more interested in after market computer and boost control unit....ASH you have not made any comments on boost.. Iam interested to hear your opinion. Regards

Hello, I would like to see in this discussion peoples knowledge on turbos. How they work , diagrams of intercoolers and all other relevant diagrams related to this topic. I would hope it be in laymen terms or close. Does anyone really understand them? I am interested myself, but have problem identifying part and where they fit. Dumps,front pipes, actuators inlet turbine exhaust turbine ,sizing metric and imperial. If you are able to show these on cars like a gtr or gtst it would help people even greater,

Hello , As you are all aware new laws came in or are coming in on the modification of cars. I had been pulled over earlier this year,and was called up to the epa for an appointment. The epa ,interesting enough ,were looking for after market computers and boost controlers as well as boost regulators . All other items were not even discussed ie Pods,Intercooler,Fuel regulator,Turbo timer,Catch can.(Which are all after market units). It was interesting to see the mechanic looking in places people hide there valuable electronics, and i though i was there for noise pollution. Anyway, does anyone know the limits we can go with this law . what modification can we do without it being against the law....I was told , punishment is in the order of $6,000 for each item.(Another interesting topic) Which brings me to the point. Can a stock ecu, (GTR GTST) be tuned to perform as well as an after market one, be it an apexi or motec ? Can boost be set without gauges and electronics ? I am purchasing turbos , powerfc ,and avcr for my car.Should i leave the apexi and avcr out and spend that money on cams,rods and baffle tank? Your input would be great . Thanks

Hello all Ive driven over 1million kilometres and i still believe a safe driver is a cautious driver. Always believe there could be a person just about to walk onto the road infront of that car and you have past the test. Anyway much to fast to go in a suburban street and ignorant in safety. Get on a f**ken track and thrash your car silly when u get your licence back so you dont do it on our roads. There are women children and babies in the cars and on the streets, have a bit of respect for them. Speed is reserved for track and drag racing, and although i am a constant speeder i rarely go over 20kms above the speed zone on our streets, because of the rule of caution.56 kms over the limit is careless and ignorant to believe you'll be right mate....dahhh.....you are lucky they took your license away. Because you could of killed not only yourself but someone else. I am glad because they might have saved a life.. Regards Tekin -
I agree, should be black or black carbon fibre...a quick spray can job would fix that... Choices only cost time or money to fix...if you got it wrong... Rest looks nice and clean...

Hello , After being in a 1998 model car ,it is not right to get into an older model than you drove before, unless it is a true classic eg. wide bodied porsche,old triumph etc...There are only a few exceptions, the GTR32 or 33 . Both these hold there resale value better than gtst's etc. I also looked at a 34GTT drove the thing and it did not compare to a gtr at all. Why not join the Skyline club with a top gtr32, i like them alot,but could not buy one, because my nephew had one so i bought the 33gtr instead. You really have to either love your nissans or your toyotas ...so choose your weopens... I have already chose mine... C u on the battle arena... Regards Tekin -
Hello I am in the same though as you, and yes agree with all your statements bar one, The powerfc is not the god of all tuners and sometimes not the best for track tuners nor drag tuners...Motec and others ae a better option although costs are greatly higher...even triple than a powerfc...the plug in is only suppose to be able to get it onto a dyno for the real tune,,,,not just plug in and think its tuned.. The power fc is not without manufacturer faults or bad workmanship...buying the unit off the forum members and returning back to japan for a fix is not the way to go....How does this poor guy Know its not faulty...because someone says it works perfectly....i think the unit never left Australia I am suprised to here that both of you (paul and dave) seem to think that nothing can go wrong with these units, and that if japan did a pooh it still would be good enough to eat(have a look at all the recall of cars they built. And to think i though this was an intelligent forum...dahhh Chat to you all when your not inlove with a piece of electronics...

Hey there tk, I will have a pair for sale soon. Have bought the work rims. Tyres are ventus 95% 245/45zr17 y95 Rims are also 95% I will be looking for aroung $2200 for the set including racing nuts with lock nuts. Let me know if you are interested in this price.
