  1. These cars aren't new I had a look at one for sale 2 years ago.. This was badged LEXUS and had the twin turbo set up, the dash was LCD and was very smart. But hey guys if you think you can beat a gtr or any moded nissan in this luxo barge your kidding yourself
  2. Hi there, Pods are fine, provided they are secured well. Boost controllers and after-market computers are a problem Obviously noise and pollution too
  3. ok then It comes with brackets and a plastic hose...is this the deflector. It is a 9 core and comes with side mount bracket aswell Ill call sxr today...for a price plus oil change Thank
  4. The costs all depend on all the above items mentioned and there costs...ie tyres brakes windscreen etc might all need to be replaced After the roadworthy you get a paper listing your problems and off you go to fix them The cost of the roadworthy if i recall is about $70 but the cost to you depend on all the faults. I believe you are given two weeks to fix them and return back to the place to re-inspect and stamp the paper work. Once the dates expire you need to pay the $70 again. You might be pleasently surprised or dumbfounded on the faults and the money you need to spend to get it roadworthy. Good Luck

  9. Hi everyone, Bought a trust oil cooler with thermo. and relocation kit for a gtr33 On the side of the box it has ecn32 as a stock code. Has the supplier gave me the wrong one? Gave it to a reputable mob in Campbellfield ,who said ther was no room to fit it at the front right I said i had never seen a GTR with it there ,always seen it at the front left. I was then told the hose was to short for that. Anyway after speaking to the supplier, was told the guys who tried fitting it were hopeless, and that the oil- lines had to go under the engine(Tight fit). Anyone know who can fit this for me.......desperate to install. Thanks
  10. Hey there, A roadworthy is a test of the cars ability to be driven safely... So...brakes,tyres,wipers,lights,seat belts ,windsreen, horn, shocks, excessive oils leaks, holes in the muffler or smoke out of the rear end are basically what they look at....its not an epa test
  11. So ...My Tyres are going to cost more than the rims i ordered.. And steel has gone up in price too...... I just think it is all hype to make us pay more on the products they sell....like what was said on tv I run a small business making office chairs and i have had no problems with price rises from my suppliers We use steel and oil based products This Sucks....We should all get together and have group buys for this...they are ripping us off What next...our shoes are going to up in price by !5% because of the price of petrol
  12. I am thinking of putting my key away and having the Nismo item or spare i had made to use. To often these keys are taken for granted and some people just think they cant be lost. I have the code marked on the spares aswell just in case, Anyway good luck at the locksmith if u didint have your code.

  15. Hey there, I have heard Tomie and Sard making them in Japan for RB25det motors but suggest only if you are fitting larger aftermarket injectors. You might be able to source some from forum business traders Racespec who can provide injectors at a resonable price might know through his contacts in Japan...His name is Tarek I am not a fuel expert but larger rails means more fuel, lower pressure, need better regulator and larger pump.I think thats how it goes.Dont take my word though i am only speculating on what i know about fuel pressure ,fuel pumps and regulators. Anyway i would most likely in your case polish the original, or even lightly sand and then paint it in chrome. Oh just wanted to know who did the work on your car..? Good luck and hope i have helped..
  16. Hello all, I have a gtr33 and recently purchased a trust oil cooler for it. I gave it to a reputable place today(near my work in Campbellfield) After 2 hours of work the mechanic said he cannot fit the thing in the front right panel. I said "i knew that...the only place i have seen them fitted is the front left panel." He went on to say the hoses are not long enough for that... Anyway in my case do i have to run my hoses under the engine? And please someone give me a place i can go to have this fitted in Melbourne. I paid $1000 for the unit and unlike your coolers this has a thermo ,and brackets to fix into place. (Trust thinks of everything except for the dum-wit that installs it) Thanks
