  2. saw this ages ago - more for show cars, you'd be ghey to put them on a street car
  3. Now with promo girls and too many other things to list.
  4. Ok there are a few people coming up from Brisbane for this, they just posted in the wrong thread, so here are the RIGHT ones... The Mackay to Townsville cruise organisation can be found here: http://www.pinkpedals.olicentral.com/index.php?topic=314.0 The Cairns to Townsville cruise organisation can be found here: http://www.pinkpedals.olicentral.com/index.php?topic=315.0 The Brisbane to Townsville cruise organisation can be found here: http://www.pinkpedals.olicentral.com/index.php?topic=316.0 These are all in aid of getting the to original cruise for the NBCF.
  5. Here are the details: What~ * A car cruise around Townsville to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) When~ * Meeting on Saturday June 30th 2007 @ 12.30pm Where~ * Meeting at the Rhonda’s fitness for women/the Warehouse car park area on Woolcock Street @ 12.30pm the cruise will run around Townsville and run down to the Soroptimist Park in Rowes Bay. There will be a FREE sausage sizzle thanks to the Butchers on Bundock, Brumbys and IGA at the Soroptimist Park and further donations for NBCF will be accepted during this time. Some Raffles and giveaways will happen at the park while we do some socialising. (Maps will be available on the day for out of towners) * At approx 4.30 a second cruise will run through town and out the to Townsville Drags (Bohle) for the Street Meet that evening for those persons interested in going out for a look Why~ Why not? We do enough “cruising” for no reason, what not do it for a good reason. The ultimate goal of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is to raise enough money to fund a cure for breast cancer. This cruise should raise some serious cash for the NBCF and give us all an opportunity to meet and greet and enjoy the afternoon together. Donations~ * Each person/car will be expected to make a donation to the NBCF. There will be some crew running around collecting your donations. * Minimum Suggested Donations are $5/Girls Cars and $10/Guys Cars however more will be very much appreciated. * Other NBCF merchandise including Official Pink NBCF Wristbands and Ribbon Pins will also be available to purchase. Other Info~ * There will be some p rizes and free stuff up for grabs after the cruise pulls up at the Soroptimist Park * There will be separate draws for guys and girls and some for everyone attending! * This event is supported by QLDStreetScene.com and PinkPedals.com with the help of many people and sponsors using their own time to pull this together. * All money raised is going to a great cause so we hope you come along and help support the National Breast Cancer Foundation All is all this cause is for a great cause and not only that it should be pretty enjoyable for those who attend. Hope you can make it. From the starting point at the cruise there will be a marshalling layout. It will be extremely important you follow the 'Cruise Crew Marshalls' with everything from parking to departure so we dont run into dramas like traffic jams etc. This cruise has been created to avoid as many traffic lights as possible however it is virtually impossible to miss ALL lights on a cruise in Townsville. To avoid cars being split up by too much distance cars will be lined up in groupings from the initial meeting point. Each 'grouping' will have a lead car so if you do happen to be held up and fall behind in the cruise your lead car for whatever grouping you are in will be close by so you dont get lost and you will then link back up with the cruise, but with the course of the cruise you will hopefully engage in minimal fall behind. AGAIN- this is why it is important to listen to your cruise crew as they will be keeping you on the right path. There will also be maps provided on the day for those who want them. All cars in the cruise will be put into a "Lucky Number Plate Draw" to wich they can will some really great prizes that have been donated by some wonderful sponsors!!! There will also be a whole bunch of other Random Prizes for the passengers in the cars too!! Everyone involved will have a chances to win! Prize pool includes things like: * Getaway packages * Tool Boxes and Tool Kits * Car Care Products and Voucher * Service Voucers * Sun Glasses * and Heaps more cool stuff.... Remember the reasons behind the cause when you show up on the day and don't forget to listen out to your "Cruise Crew" so from the word go so the cruise does run smoothly! There are many people taking their own time in organising this event and we want everyone to enjoy themselves while having a SAFE cruise! Its not hard thing to achieve with a little co-operation from you guys! The Free BBQ at soroptimist park has been supplied by the Butchers on Bundock, IGA and Brumby's! We will be accepting further donations at the BBQ and selling drinks also with all proceeds going to the NBCF! The second cruise is OPTIONAL for those who wish to go to the Townsville Dragway and run their cars. Townsville Dragway fees will be as per usual for any street meet. ***REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A CRUISE FOR A GOOD CAUSE. IT IS NOT A RACE!!!*** A massive thanks needs to go to our sponsors who have donated stacks of great prizes for giveaways and "lucky number plate draws" on the day!!! * 100.7 SEA FM * Gilbert Group Queensland * John Mullers Tyres * Escape Travel * Brumby's * IGA- Independant Grocers of Australia * The Butchers on Bundock * Autobarn * AWX Labour Solutions This cruise would not be happening without these guys... everyone is invited so please come down and show your support. For further infrmation and updates please keep an eye on the mentioned websites. PinkPedals.com will be running a cruise for it's, and QSS members from Mackay to Townsville, and QLDStretScene.com will be running a cruise for it's, and Pinkpedals.com members from Cairns to Townsville. This is a complete North Queensland event with the top 3 cities all getting behind it. If Rockhampton would like their leg in the door let me know. Hope to see the North QLD SAU crew there
  6. Mine is going to be a BUC soon for sale, if yours is still there I'll take it off your hands. Maybe.
  7. Reliable or not this thread was started on the 11 April and still no dyno sheet? I am not saying it isn't possible but it is now the 20th May and nothing... Anyone can polish an engine and buy a shit load of parts but putting them in a working and usable application is another issue. 900hp is from the engine, so we are talking around 720rwhp given the 20% (average) difference? Morgs - What's the MPH on DRAGME?
  8. Is it just me, or is the dyno sheet not loading? Nice list of mods, and the engine looks clean, but anyone can polish an engine and spend copious amounts on parts. It's getting them all to work in the right order and the right pressures, that's the hard part. I'll believe your 900hp claim it when I see it.
  9. What did they do to justify 8hrs? Did they wipe the previous tune and start at a base map?
  10. Thanks for rubbing it in Where are you located? I might know a few good w/shops in your area that you can get advise from.
  11. Do you have forged internals? If so on cold starts they make a horrible piston knock sound until they are warmed up. Don't know if that helps or not.
  12. f**k all? You well get the block decked and head machined right? Do you want to use this chance to get more power from the engine or just rebuild it stock so it works? To crack test and machine the head your looking at 1k, then you got to get your parts. Head gasket Pistons and Rings Rods Bearings Idler and Pully Adjustable cams? Is it a S1 or S2 Skyline? S1 only need the 1 aftermarket cam gear and S2 have 2. Timing belt Etc etc You will need to make a decision if you're buying stock parts to get it going or forgies to make it stronger and get a bit more power and go faster. Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go? Then you need to allocate money for when it stuffs up. You'll need a service not long after it is back in and running, new filters, oil obviously, and for Motul you could be looking at another $250 if you want engine and box oil. Put it this way, I put aside 5k for my rebuild back when my engine blew up in May 06, so far I have spent 5k x3 + some and the car still isn't on the road. Choose who you get to do the work carefully and only take it to a reputable dealer who has experience in what you want done. It might cost more initially but in the long run it's a God send. Good luck with it!!
  13. Motec M600 over here. Was already installed in the car at purchase.

  15. They aren't the ones paying for it You are when you buy the car, would be a part of the purchase price.
  16. I don't know much about Microtech's but could it be the injectors /coils or fuel pump? The spray pattern could be messed up?
