  1. if your coilovers are adjustable put it on a looser setting it's most likely tyre quality/wear causing you to spin out at low speed in the wet take close up a picture of your tyres on the sidewall & the treads & post it here
  2. saw your car near the rooty hill shops the other day, sorry to hear you're selling it! I've been contemplating putting mine up for sale too as I hardly drive it anymore good luck with your sale
  3. errmagerrd, so many memories of dust map coming back. Wish I still had time for gaming
  4. yeah... I'd hate to lose all my porn too it takes time & effort downloading, sorting & filing that shit into categories
  5. GTR wing on GTSt is fine with me as long as it doesn't have gtr endplates, aesthetically it's the best looking wing for the r33 shape, not a big fan of the duckwing
  6. as far as I'm aware the car should start up as long as the key fob is inserted in the slot, regardless of the battery being there, I might test this out later. can you still lock the car using the buttons on the key fob? I had a similar issue where the lock button the driver side door & the keyless start stopped working but a battery change fixed it.
  7. Booyah
  8. sorry not meaning to hijack, be interesting to see what you sell it for as mine is same spec, mines just ticked over 57km on the clock. would you mind shooting me a PM if it sells? As much as I love mine I'm lucky if I drive it once a month now & kind of miss having a manual sports car, feels weird having a daily manual & a weekend auto hehe. They are a probably the best mix of affordable sport & luxury
  9. Hey mate, personally for me paying for a gym membership is my ONLY motivation to excercise (I'm stingy like that hehe can't stand to see money down the drain). Try to find your motivator as it will definitely help you persevere when you have times when you just want to say f**k it all. I had to take a long hard look at myself to realise that the pain in the arse of eating healthier & excercising outweighs feeling shit about myself. I'm at a point now where I'm enjoying my workouts, (the perve when I'm on the treadmill/eliptical is a good motivation to go too ) still trying to get the eating side under control. Good luck, hope things stay on track for you
  10. ^ thanks! I appreciate the kind words Looking back I can't believe I was lugging that weight around for so long. My gym recently decided they needed to fill up every bit of floor space with machines & benches. Literally no more decent floor space to do proper ab workouts, Farken!
  11. ^ ahaha that's one way to keep me motivated cheers I work near a food court so too much temptation, but too lazy to prepare food from home. I'm obviously not a fitness health freak so I try to compromise; During a week I'll get things like grilled fish with garden salad no dressing, subway 6" sub lean meat no cheese wholegrain bread or a sammich from a cafe. I still get a red rooter/kfc meal 2-3 times a week which is a bad habit so I'm trying to cut this out, just need to ween myself off it gradually, I gave up smokes cold turk3y but I can't seem to do it for junk food FFS!
  12. yeah tried that excuse on the missus already
  13. haha thanks dude I'm trying to find pics of when I had more weight on my midsection as I wanted to do one of those before & after shots, but I shied away from cameras for a reason gonna aim to break into the 75kg range in 1-2 weeks, just maintain the stuff I'm doing at the gym. Anyone got tips for core strength & abdominals? too much conflicting advice on the net. I'm trying to get the lean look not necessarily the large bulging six pack cheers Edit: Found some old pics maybe 2 years old when I was pushing 95kg compared to a pic taken this morning
  14. that's cool if it's all legit. For some reason the first & second post reminded me of the tv show antiques roadshow, where the owner of an antique gets their item appraised & the appraiser talks about the history of the piece. For that reason I read the second post in my head with a british accent lol
  15. Put this up for myself as I have kind of Plateaued as of late with my progress, need a kick in the pants to keep me going. As of February 2012 I decided I have had enough of my love handles. Weighed in at 88kg & would fluctuate between 87-90kg before then. height: 171cm 5"7 naturally stocky build, was never a skinny kid growing up. always had broad shoulders for my size so it helps hide the fat with loose tshirts, but got to a stage where even that couldn't hide it. Currently weigh: 76kg so lost 12 kg in 6 months. main difference is stepping up my cardio & ab workouts at the gym + cutting out a lot of junk food meals I would normally eat I have been hovering around 76-77kg for the last 2 months. I'm not really concerned with my final weight figure, concentrating more on getting rid of the last bits of my love handles & getting back the abs I had when I was a teenager. I think I've reached the limit of results I can achieve just going to the gym, If I'm going to get my abs back I'll need to work on my diet ie; cut out all the junk food! Work & life in general keeps me very busy, not always easy to cook at home
  16. Bahaha... Love it
  17. welcome mate just out of curiosity what model car are you in the market for? plenty of helpful people on this forum
  18. ^ agree somewhat, they find every reason under the sun not to pay out but will happily take your premium under the guise of 'read the PDS' disclaimers. Then if you do qualify for a payout you have to pay an excess for the privilege! but as far as I know EVERY financer requires you to have insurance so unless you have the cash to buy outright you have no choice. Can't wait til I'm 25 & it starts getting slightly cheaper Funnily enough Justcars have been the cheapest for me & the lowest claim excess everytime I've quoted for both the skyline & xtrail
  19. No worries mate, good luck with your GTR search PS - go Bayside Blue!
  20. Car is sold, kind of gonna miss the little guy . Mods please close/delete
  21. ^ That's super cool, I can see myself just to the right of Aggro's car Heh that's kind of why I re-wrote my timesheet out neater during the lunch break
  22. powder coat is meant to be stronger afaik, I had my wheels powdercoated black & definitely not a rough orange peel finish, silky smooth. from memory it was the same price to get powdercoated as that guy wants for his 2pak job
  23. anyone got vids of the silver Stagea Nm35? that car was getting very respectable times & neat runs or better yet the soccer-mum showdown in the arvo when both stageas were out on the course
  24. hell I'll give it a crack. Gonna hook up the laptop to my 52" flatscreen & turn the sound system up. edit: original link up top was removed for violation. I googled slender man download & found another hosting site, there's plenty out there
