  10. they should be the same as 370 brakes but nissan would charge a left nut brand new... I am very impressed with the akebonos, I've had the car for just over a year now, done two trackdays and a skidpan in that time not to mention my runs at WSID on stock pads & they still feel strong, didn't feel any of the dreaded brake fade even during a full day of punishment at wakefield on a 28/30 degree day
  11. I think with my stomach Smithfield Rd Prairiewood NSW 2176
  12. will there be places to get a feed? I may pack some lunch if we gonna be there till 4
  13. well said, I personally have never had any issues with cops & my cars (always had skylines) knock on wood of course I never acted like a dick when pulled over either so it must go a long way only time I don't agree with cops is when I see them in uniform & marked patrol cars doing the exact thing that they pull over others for I won't go into detail in this thread as it is the love for cops thread after all
  14. tell them if it's too bright you're too old my old MY06 350z had led taillights & brakelamp from factory & they're definitely bright, if cops are gonna pull you over it'll be more for your car rather than the actual tail lamps imo
  15. depends on the bank and loan, I payed out my commonwealth loan in full recently & had it for about 12-13 months no penalty, just had to pay out the remaining principle all up according to my final statement I only paid around 1200 interest for the year I had the loan
  16. welcome, you'll certainly be living up to your username when you finish your project
  17. the general criteria for lending to casuals is a minimum 12 months, but you never know... I had a personal loan for my V36 via the commonwealth & I had only been in a new job for 1 month at the time, granted I had paid out a previous loan before with them no dramas & all my accounts were with them at the time and this was just before the financial crisis crap. most secured loans the vehicle can't be more than 5-7 years old, and sometimes the loan can't be more than a total % of the vehicles' market value, will need cover note for insurance etc. bear that in mind if you haven't already easiset will be to research on the net who has the lowest rates, narrow down to 2-3 lenders you want to consider & go visit a local branch, they can do pre-approvals or borrowing power calculations without actually going ahead & applying

  22. yep got mine as well
  23. I've always stood by the opinion that a grown man wearing make up & in contact with children is unwholesome ronald mcdonald is their poster boy but the clown stays
  24. sigh this has been discussed ad nauseum it depends on a combination of what you drive like, how you look, your attitude to the cop once pulled over and the cop themselves. yes our cars stand out from the bland taxis and 4 bangers, so we are more noticeable, plus our cars have a reputation due to the small amount of dickheads who do hoon on the road, i reckon we don't get it any worse than rexxies or supras though As a rule I don't drive like a tool on the street but... for eg. pulled over in an RBT when I had my r34 GTT, did the breath test then told to pull up a bit further to pop my bonnet, cops tried to ping me (had an exposed pod at the time which came like that from japan) but I didn't act like a tool, they let me go with a warning but told me to get the pod covered/engineered etc etc also when I had the 34 operation taipan pulled me over as I was cruising along on the great western highway where the minchinbury maccas is, (not to mention he swerved in and out of traffic to catch up to where I was & had to speed up over the limit, i saw his sirens as far back as the BP servo, ironic) he got me to pop my bonnet, again just a warning to drive safe (yeah sure, when I was cruising at the speed limit & you drove like makkinen to get & pull me over) and sent on my way.
  25. I think it doesn't matter what I think in the grand scheme... but hillclimbs sound like fun, as does a rally, I have a beat up old corolla that I love to bits but have no respect for that I could have a lot of fun cutting loose on a rally, as much as possible with a paddock basher anyway lol
