  1. just pull the intake pipe off and see if theres any shaft movement. if it moves more than 1-2mm then its bad news, and you cant rebuild BB turbos unfortunately
  2. to achieve what exactly?
  3. 13B injectors will fit straight in i thought u already had 550's?
  4. ive got one of these on my car and just downsized the exhaust wheel from a 2.24" to a 2" to increase driveability. cost me $340 for wheel and shaft - full boost by 3800rpm (1bar)
  5. id go for a T3/4. its so much easier to upgrade to this, and cheaper. and doesnt leave you with an undriveable laggy turbo youd be surprised how fast 330rwhp actually is. itd be good enough for 12s and to be fair thats fast enough for most people!

  16. its had some 'slight modifications' though
  17. before you get too excited adrian this workshop has done some excellent work. a few of my mates have had things fabricated by them and have had no problems altho i agree that this case its a bit rediculous with the cooler cracking which is quite pathetic. im not making excuses or anything but dont judge the whole workshop and spread bad rumours based on this one case
  18. brett, what pods were you looking at getting? ive got a K&N and that passed no worries. just make sure its fixed down with a bracket of somesort. ring up welshpool pits (centre for permits) and ask them im thinking of putting a pod filter on my car whats the requirements to make it road-legal unfortunately personal experience can only say that K&Ns are legal but im sure most others are
  19. yep at the pits get a modification form and fill it out pods have to be securely fastened in the engine bay and some arent eligible for permit.
  20. ahh an unfortunate smelting accident maybe we should take out insurance first though...
  21. you can use amourall as well but nothing ive used really lasts very long
  22. if you can afford jap stuff then great, but if youre money tree didnt survive the summer like mine didnt then its best to look at the local products cos they aint that far behind
  23. try and ride the clutch a little, and if the car redlines straight away from wheelspin dont just put it straight into second cos youll bog down and have to build boost again in 2nd gear. if you get huge wheelspin off the line youve got to feather the throttle, dont just get excited and plant it. make sure youve got decent speed in 1st before changing. if you floor it and dump the clutch it will just wheelspin...
  24. take it somewhere else mate
  25. im surprised cos x's welding and machine work is normally quite good... but yeh definaely take it back and get your money back. its rediculous to break so many times
