Who knows the passwords other than Christian the owner, or maybe MODERATORS??????? If I change the password, the system still knows it??????
-
This is very interesting, because I didn't put this comment on here and I want to know WHO, HOW & WHY ??????????????????????? I wasn't online when this was posted, so somebody likes playing games. D
-
Doesn't matter! The S1 KHR30 only came out with 1 set of alloy wheels and the ones on Steven's car aren't the right ones. D
-
True...

Ok Jarryd! Do you think it would be possible to tell us what you HAVE DONE, like before (as purchased) and after. From the pictures on ebay, the stand out failings for the car is the engine bay & interior. You gave us a link to KRS some time back and made a point of the Paul Newman stickers being available. They have heaps of bits just not available through Nissan anymore for the R30, primarily DR30 though and you could probably use some of the dash bits. If you want to start tarting this car up into something of a show car, let me know as I have the inlet manifold I bought from MasTers in WA that I probably wont use now, as a coat of paint will work just as well, or I'll get both manifolds done to match at Comcoat & probably satin black. This manifold is yours if you want it. Cheers, D

Chris, The PNV is a spec'd up GT-ES, making it, in R30 ranks, the pinnacle, the very best of the bunch and thanks to this and a few stickers, badges and embroidery, they are rare and in the right circles worth double ANY road going DR30. It's obvious you don't know the diferrences and have never bothered to find out. As for the centreline & oz spec lights comments, it has nothing to do with reaction, but everything to do with this. D

I would expect nothing less from you! mmmmmmmmmmmmm "Vacationer Pack" what do I have that's vacationer pack in your eyes & how many millions of yen have you been offered for your DR lately? As for leave him be? Why??? He hasn't completed a single project that he has posted on this forum and for the most part, think he is a joke. He puts it out there on open forum and doesn't expect to be shot to bits????????? He shoots his mouth off about centreline wheels & oz spec lights and has an acute case of NFI syndrome whilst he is doing it and I can just sit back and do nothing for you to be happy. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

What's the go Jarryd? You don't like what I say & you want to block my posts and then you do this?? Ghostrider, D-limo wants to be your friend! This message has been sent because D-limo has added you to their friends list. As you've chosen to approve all friend requests, you will need to visit your friends list and approve them. Most of the guys on here just tell me to koff and it's over & done with. Do you ever stop to think I'm trying to embarrass you so much that you actually get up and finish something??? D

You're really showing your smarts now Jarryd! The Oz spec tail lights were fitted because I sold the hotplates for $250.00 & it's a track car so who gives a stuff what lights are on it. The centrelines you refer to are german made BBS Lorinser wheels off a Mercedes Benz reworked to be now 4 instead of 5 stud and widened to 8.0in to suit the race tyres & fit around the BNR32 GTR front brakes. You might be amusing if you knew a little of what you were talking about. When your DR is 1 of less than 20 left in the world and you're offered millions of yen for it, then you might be able to sprook a bit.

Still not standard!

Very good Jarryd! You finally got something that looks a treat and you did absolutely nothing to make it that way. From the short time I have known of your existence, everyone I talk to that knows you, has told me you have NEVER completed a project, so what's going to happen to this. This is about 80% a good thing, but for sure it will never be 100% in your care and maybe not 81% Keep tuned folks, this will be for sale again soon, when he finds a Lightburn Zeta with a 427 Corvette up front in pink. THIS CAR IS VERY QUICK AND IS NOT FOR INEXPERIENCED DRIVERS Obviously this was never an option to consider????? I thought this might be more up your alley of choice.

mmmmmmmmmm How 100% standard with after market JDM gold mesh rims ????????? Steven King is who you're refering to then. And it's widely agreed it was a monumental stuff up by the "human error factor" of organisers, that that particular award went to the wrong place. I don't know that Steven's car should have got the award or not, as there were a number of things that let the car down and in the same class was a blue MR30 hatch that I thought might have deserved it just as much. Is he trying to sell his car????? Cheers, D

The only Steve I can think of is Ravenoak. He has a grey DR30 for sale with 57000k on the dial and he is looking for about $15000.00 for his car. He would cry if he found out how much I was recently offered for his old car, now one of my PNV's, because it was a lot more than he wants for his DR. D
-
That's diferent! I can chirp the tyres on my L20et PNV fairly easily on dry roads and can get it a bit out of shape changing gears if I try How old is "mellow" Mario? I'm 61 next month and there is a guy on this forum 66yostagea that is 71 I think now. I'm enjoying your information on C210/211. Cheers, D
-
Mario, With your knowledge, is there any chance the C211 was a stop gap model, somewhat similar to the 420 compact Jag? D
-
Not stolen from me! I have had one of my PNV's since 2001 and that car was destined for the crusher in Japan, before connections of the importer rescued it and exported it to Australia, where it was registered & garaged, till I bought it in 2001. I am it's 2nd and last Aussie owner. It has been garaged by me since going through a gradual rebuild/refurb with certain performance upgrades along the way. As for the L20et not being a huge power beast, you're correct, but with 108Kw at the flywheel and driven through an 4.11:1 R200 diff and being relatively light, mine climbs over Mt Ouseley coming out of Wollongong in 5th gear @ 90kph with 2 pax easy as can be, so it's adequate for it's intentions. Cheers, D
-
Sorry! Was interested in the model derivative, not the equipment level. Cheers, D
-
I'm surprised he hasn't been approached about selling it offshore, because I have. The Paul Newman in my garage has attracted some interest in Japan and I have been offered good money for it and been told there is probably less than a dozen in existence today. Not surprising when in 1997 when my other PNV was imported, was stolen from the crushers with a lousy 57000k on the dial. Cheers, D

What is the JDM 2000 GT-ES?
-
I went to Nissan & FAST before I said anything because I wasn't sure. I can attest to the fact that there is some fairly strange things that happen to the JDM only vehicles that we never see evidence of. I vaguely remember an 180B derivetive (710) that came to Oz as a rally car only in the mid to late 70's, looked a bit like the Violet from memory. D
-
Give you a grand Jarryd. It is parts only car now, $900~1000.00 to lift it to Sydney and you're competing with a 4 door on Sunshine Coast for $1500.00 and falling. Cheers, D
-
I was refering to this V8 Ricky!
-
Don't know where you got this information, but the first factory EFI (L-Jetronic by Bosch) was on HGC211 & S30 280Z as far as I am aware. D
-
The V8 is better lol

Advice Regarding Taillights
Ghostrider replied to Socrates's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
If it was mine, I would be making the under the number plate bit black too, as it looks a bit ordinary in body colour. That section is designed for the 13 x 6.5 inch number plate frames in Japan, but they are worse than rocking horse poo to find. The set I have on my factory spec PNV is the only set I have seen this side of oz. Cheers, D
