  1. Do you have the S1 chrome lights? I'm a bit with R34, the black looks cool to me, but for the chrome bit at the top. Have you ever considered making that chrome bit black except for the SKYLINE lettering????? Cheers, D
  2. Black? It's actually blue! Ok where do they go on a C210 or C10, whatever? Remember I'm an R30 man & I know nothing about these. They are up for grabs but have an interest in the blue I think. Cheers, D
  3. I have just had these come into my possession and I'm told they are C210. Are they? Can anyone shed some light on these?? And they are all very legal, nothing shonky, ex Taiwan through an acquaintance! Cheers, D
  4. Got all the guts! The degree number is what the japs do to rate cams and it's the number of degrees past bottom dead centre that the valves close at. Upwards to 300 degrees duration I'm told, so no good for turbo applications. D
  5. Why do we talk Holley & Weber down draught when twin 1.75" SU's are really cheap of 2500TC Triumphs. Is it the balance tuning issues, because it couldn't be such a big performance issue? I would think the twin carb manifold off 240/260Z's would be relatively easy to get, or aren't they?? D
  6. What do you call a 72 degree camshaft? Are you saying duration is 252 degrees? That's 180 + 72 degrees??
  7. The driver's handbook states 800kg max trailer weight BRAKED & 400kg unbraked. That's the legal requirement, but having said that, I have seen L24E R30's towing car trailers. How tough is the law in Victoria on this? Just yesterday I saw, went past an GK Sigma station wagon towing a car trailer with a KH Laser on travelling along the M7. According to the specs the KH Laser has a kerb weight of 1035kg & the Sigma has a max braked towing capacity of 1100kg, so I guess this combination would have exceeded 1500kg. Your call I guess, but my suggestion would look more closely at your load. Cheers, D
  8. I have been looking at C210 on Yahoo Japan myself, for the C211 I was looking at and the bits I needed were not there and haven't been anywhere else. I have 5 importers on the lookout for bits as well without success, so I went with the KHR30 in Ballina, as I have bits for them laid on & they are easier to find.
  9. If they don't, let me know and I'll pick them up for you and go from there. It's about 30~40 mins from me? Cheers, D
  10. Maybe these??? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/WATANABE-STYLE-WHEE...=item2a0b4b59bc D
  11. Bit hard to be a classic original with a full leather re trim? D
  12. I have a set of 15 x 6.5 Nissan M30 Infinity rims I might let go. They same as on these PNV pics. They are also directional & I have a new spare centre cap. But where are you? D
  13. Whatever turns you on! But it has 2 to many doors to fit into my collection
  14. Might be good IF it was an 95 as described???????
  15. Have you thought of using one of your N42 heads? Valves are heaps easier to get out of USA, both standard & oversize. If your going to have flat top pistons your compression is going to be far to high to turbo, but with dished standard 280zx turbo pistons it would be good, just cant put over a bar of boost into it. If you build this engine right, you wont need anymore that 10psi max. I'm building an L28ET motor. F54/P90 combination with just under 9:1 compression I'm expecting about 250RWHP, but over 500Nm of torque on under 10psi and with our cars weighing a miserly 1250 odd kg, that is going to be a handful in anybodies language. Cheers, D
  16. I have the F54/P90 combination with flat top pistons, but the motor was imported out of Japan, as it also has the dual stage throttle body on the L28E manifold. Depending on your application, the F54 block is not necessarily the best block for the job. eg; the best block to use for the L31 build is the N42 and not the F54 as commonly thought. I have sonic tested 6 plus F54 blocks and if any were to be used in a plus 3.0mm overbore, the cylinder walls would probably have been porous. Hence why I decided to use my block with a max oversize bore of 1.0mm. Any particular reason you want an F54/P90 combination? Cheers, D
  17. Dan, I'm trying to get both PNV's plus the DR trackstar to the Datnats 2011. Cheers, D
  18. It's back in town. Cost of fuel up and back was excellent, used just on 200L for round trip of just over 1600k and it's heaps better in the flesh. Was a private import in 1985 and quite possibly a custom order, as it has an R200 diff under the ass end. Not a stock item in an povity pack KHR30 Skyline. I'm going to do a FAST check on the chassis number, but I expect it to be built 1982 or there abouts. Cheers, D
  19. The seller canceled all of the zero feedback newbey bids because he couldn't be contacted. As I said it d!ckheads on these auctions that boost the value and have no intention of buying. That's why the price is down, although as you said John, STATUS has allegedly bid $2500.00 which isn't there. Having said that he is going to sniper bid it next and he has the advantage of knowing the reserve. Good position to be in if you're a serious contender. Just take your snorkel and flippers when picking it up, as all major highways were cut into Mildura yesterday. Cheers, D
  20. You got some issues with ebay?
  21. Cant answer that question, only that they do & I tried to discuss a spare tyre and they say that's part of the car, but I couldn't convince them so I'm picking it up and having a holiday for a couple of days. Feast on some local seafood and imported beverage. D
  22. Picking up this tasty treat Thursday. I'm gunna be out of here veeeeerry early Thursday morning. Do you know it's exceptionally very expensive to transport this car with the parts in it. Just a box in the boot means the diferrence between $600 & $1000.00 and they don't want to know anything. It's going to cost me about $300.00 Diesel, $170.00 accommodation for a couple of nights + meals and 1500k on the car. Cheers, D
  23. Certainly has, but will be worth it in the end. I often get criticised on here for my comments and especially my discent of anything R31. Having said that, if I ever had an R31 it would be one of these, a Passage GT. Why? Because they're diferent! Keep us posted on it's progress and congratulations on a great choice. Cheers, D
  24. Wouldn't matter a toss, as they both the same unless of course it's an early one. If the turbo mount is at #5, they both same. Cheers, D
