  1. Booked for a test drive in a silver R34 GTR from Gran Turismo (GTA) in city this weekend. Want to see what all the fuss is about, but still curious to see or drive a NSX.. anybody been in one?? As for S2000 a tad small i reckon there almost MX5 like. I know this is a Skyline forum.. and this may seem like a silly question. But whats better a 95 NSX or a 98 R34 GTR? opinions please. thanks
  2. Sell it to that (funky monkey) or (spunky monkey) guy i think he wanted one for his r33.
  3. Hey Musty! yeah the EVO is a 4 door..and don't really want another 4wd turbo.. as you may already know 930 Porsche on the other hand, looks abit old. Although wouldnt mind that Ferrari you have.. Yeah Ferah sought of getting over the good old skyline. But im unsure of which one to sell, but most likely its the R32 GTR. Want something with abit more respect and not so common. Not a big fan of Aussie muscle cars, although they do look quite mean. I'm soughta after a smaller, lower 2 door car..if you know wat i mean. Thanks anyway.
  4. Thanks for all your opinions guys.. really appreciate it. But don't really want to go too Grandpa-spec with the bmw/mercedes sedans or even EVO's or STI's as im after a sports coupe. Well at this stage i'm still unsure of what to get but i may have to test drive a r34 gtr as 90% of people i know are telling me to get one. But too me its still a another skyline. But right now i'd have to say its either between the NSX or the 350z..maybe M3 e36 but still unsure. What are your opinions on the NSX as i've yet to drive one, and how would you compare them to say the BMW M3 or R34 gtr. Thanks guys
  5. LOL.. yeah they are pretty gay cars.. but i didn't yet say i was gonna buy one.. Just contemplating.
  6. R32 have blueish colour mats. your mats are form a r33. Same design and all, just different colour and texture.
  7. I did say classy, but i didn't say slow. If you notice most of the cars i listed are 2 seaters or N/A with the odd exception of the RX7 and supra, being they are just newer cars than my skylines. As for the BMW and audi, not really my cup of tea as i would still like to stay Japanese if i can. Thanks for your opinion, i don't mind the old porsche the one like in Bad boys the movie, but i still think its abit out of reach for me.
  8. Hi guys. I think i've come to the stage to trade up and get something better. I've just starting to look for a new car and i'm not sure of what to get. I'm gonna sell either my 32 gtr or my r33 showcar and with the money i get from the sale of one, i'll have roughly 50-55k to spend. I'm starting to get over the whole 'speed' thing, and want something maybe with slightly abit more class, yet still be a sports coupe. I know my budget can get me a R34 gtr...but i think that its not much different then what i already have, just newer. And i'm after something that looks a little more exotic, as i will still have one of my skylines for the speed fix. So far i've contemplated on a 94 Honda NSX 2006 Nissan 350z 97 Toyota supra TT. 00 porsche boxter. 97 S8 Mazda RX7 or perhaps buy 2 cheaper cars. Thats all i can think of at the moment, but even though i'm young i think its time to get a 'slightly' more mature ride, and not a car thats often associated with a 'hoon' Any opinions or suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks Tai
  9. You can tap directly into the oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold. Just peel back the heat shrink and splice into the appropriate wire. I think it was the white or green wire by memory, may be wrong.
  10. Bahhaha thats awesome.. how in the world did you do that?
  11. Kudos Motorsports on this forum sells them.

    Happy New Year

Happy new year ppl.. Wish u all a safe and prosperous new year.
  13. Yeah you need to make custom brackets that bolt from the universal rail to the bolting locations aswell as making a bracket for seatbelt buckle. They are nowhere near as good as 'real' ones and don't hug you as much if at all. Get genuine recaro/bride or GTR seats, can't go wrong with them and less headache as they will bolt directly in.
  14. Yeah i think thats the bomex wing.. in my opinion makes the car look less wide (not a good thing) as it sits too wide. Just get option 1.. as 90% of ppl voted that one.
  15. 400r lights are just clear version of the R33 gtr indicators. One of the traders on this forum (Kudos motorsports) sell them. I think i payed about $220 for the pair, or just go the trailer lamps for $5
  16. Wouldn't sound good as the enclosure will be too small. subs cannot be mounted like a speaker can..they need a enclosure of some sort or else get a free-air sub which sound terrible. Stick with the subs in the boot will sound 10 times better.
  17. DMD stocks them. I believe when i last enquired $2700 all up i think
  18. Yep front and rear bolts straight in. in either series 1 or 2
  19. Going by that picture.. it doesnt look like the gtr indicator will fit that without modifications, as the opening on that is somewhat triangle and quite smallish. If anything a trailer lamp will go over the top of that hole, but not the gtr as the gtr ones have the plastic body which sits behind the bar.
  20. Kev.. i'd definelty go for option 1 or even a r34 gtr wing.
  21. I've now got 20's on my car and they don't rub with 235-35 tyres. may only scrub if excessively low. Car still handles good, but has reduced performance due to their sheer weight. But its a show car/cruiser and i don't mind the loss of performance.. but realistically for a street car get some wide 18 or 19 inch rims. Probably a good set of 19 inch is best of both worlds.
  22. Happy birthday Maurice... Jordan's brother i presume, i was in his class.
  23. Theres already a recent thread about this floating around. But basically you need to get GTR bonnet, hinges, guards and a few other small alterations. Or alternatively modify the bumper.. eg cut and remove a inch or so from centre and then plastic weld back together. Or just buy a bumper already modified to fit
  24. I will post some up tommorow, as i dont have my digi-cam handy.
  25. Nice mate! Looks very similar to the colour of my old r33 (candy, blood red in avater) Must warn you though...candys fade horrendously with too much exposure to sun.
