  1. Ohhhhhh ouch, thems fighting words... Yes Shane has been known to drive cars into things from time to time... (I know i have a picture of the damge here somewhere) But arent we all guilty of driving careless now and then...
  2. Ive sent him a couple of pm's, give it time and Im sure we will have a solution... Im sure there is a simple explaination for it all... PS> Marki keep your stupid comments to yourself, you are being a hinderance to the matter... Your comments land you in hot water too often, you gonna say the wrong thing to the wrong person one day and they are gonna thump you, be considerate of others...
  3. Ummmmm pizza pocket...
  4. Its all good Ang... Just so you know the in's and outs Dale, I enquired about a day for SAU early last year... The hire of willowbank generally is in excess of $7500 for the day (back in 2006 when I priced it) I think there were some serious conditions at this price also, like it was a 10am til 5pm run time and no entry was allowed to be charged at the gate, no food stalls would open, traction compond was $1000 extra, 7 support staff which means in a accident it would take a while to clean, so on and so forth... So the cost for one of these days is fairlly heavy to begin with, hence the $90 per car entry and believe Angela every cent gets chewed up... But think of it this way, a TnT night you pay $38 and would be lucky to get say 4-5 runs in before they shut the gates... This is cause over 200 cars turn up every time and a tnt has a shorter run time, so imaging what you could do with half the cars and an extra couple of hours up your sleave... At this event there is a limited number of cars, so your gonna get in at least 15 runs maby more... Id be there myself if I didnt have other things on that day...
  5. Hope to have a great time, Im sure ill enjoy it... How did ya cruise go over the weekend???
  6. Yeah im prepaid for everything Dave Im down the end of conrod straight in a corparate tent thanks to dads work so the service and toliets should not be an issue... Plus we are staying offsite, back in the township... Hopefully PS. I have edited my last post to provide a greater explination of what bathurst means to me...
  7. cry, im crying.... Arhhhhh..... crying I grew up watching super tourers and the begining of V8 supercars... Its not the sport i like so much it the family aspect, they all come over for a bbq and making a good old day out of it. Its like Baker tradition, the family coming round and we crack a few cold beers on a warm day and enjoy a salad and snag on a roll straight off the BBQ. Its all about family for me, the motorsport just puts a date on the weekend, and gives us something to watch... Bit the same with state of Origin and grand final time... Its a family thing, fond memories as a kid... (Here comes my soft side) I guess you never know how much time you will get with your friends and family. They could be gone tomorrow, so time spent together is good time always... So its special time, going to the drags, fishing, watching bathurst, watching an NRL game at suncorp, gathering for birthdays, christmas and easter as we grow older (im the youngest of 3) we all have started our own families and we have little time for each other these days and its a great excuss to get together again and have a big chin dig... However this year is different, ill be there with my dad and older brother...
