No, i questioned the final power figure as without this information it cannot be taken as gospel. As Dave was asking about how accurate shootout mode is I was just stating that the normal info is missing so no one really knows in this case. But once again Ill say it, im sure Mick never thoguht this would be a pin up for power, its just a tuning aid. But as stated its not about the final figure, as who really cares. Its all about how much better it is now then before. Yeah thats right Geoff, does not matter how acurate the final figure is, the final power run is much nicer than the original one... Both done on the same dyno on the same day, so thats the result... So there in it self marks an improvement, plus as I said nothing beats "the feeling in the seat of your pants"... But short answer for Dave is yes, ramp rates can help bump up the figure, also having a higher intake temp and outside air temp will also affect the correction before a power figure is output. So not having any data in those areas will affect the final output figure, however that said Im sure Mick never inteded the printout to become a pin up for power, it was more likelly used just to measure the improvement from start to finish of the tune... As this is really what dynos are made for!!!
