  1. Is it still $1.45 a litre tho?
  2. So north lakes shopping centre is getting JB Hifi in the new section, hopefully before XMAS Thats 7 store openings in QLD this half... Id be looking at shares... Yeah I had to get into the back section of the shopping centre and someone told me I would have to go down the side of the estate and drive back in along one of the service roads, anyway I ened up at the golf course
  3. I stopped in a JBC cars at strathpine which are well know to only do high quality performance and collectors cars... Had a look see at a few and saw this R32 GTR for 15k stock as a rock with no scratchs and the interia looked about right for its age, but yeah 15k is nuts... He said he just bought a supra out of japan with the works (800hp unit) for under 25k landed, all he has to do is the usuall and you got yourself a 800hp supra for under 30k... The market has fallen to pieces, I asked so hows R34 GTRS going, he said thy are probablly the only car still fetching good money. But he said they do pop up from time to time under 42k FOB which is just nuts... I hate cars No no i dont
  4. I got lost in North lakes today, how does one find they way around that place???

  9. Well what can I say... Welcome to SAU, bit of a weird way to enter the community but welcome never the less... PS. I have a soft spot for R34 GTR's, love the car!!!
  10. Love the number plates on the orange 32
  11. I do like this photo, you have been carefull not to over expose the focal point of the shot to the point where you loose detail, but you have given the impression almost of being in a studio with a white floor. Thus takes the eye away from the foreground and straight to the point of focus. Also you were carefull not to have your reflection in a body panel of the car, you choose the back corner to avoid this. Either that or it was just lucky Nice shot
  12. Arhhh nice work, I have not seen this car in ages. Your attention to detail and setup made me foam at the mouth at first sight, Ive never seen a GTR this modified in Australia before. Love to see the updated pics, and wish you the best of luck over in the land of the rising sun.

    Help!

You need to take a very scientific approach to beating this fine... Park your car at a shopping centre right on the white line under the middle of the car, then measure a 45 degre angle from the front of the car in both directions. Be very accurate, mark the 45 degre line with chalk on the concrete, make sure you take photos of you doing the measuring and the marking. Then stand back 20 metres or so and take a photo of the front of your car with your camera from both lines. If you can see the number plate easily in both photos you will win the case easily, if you cannot see it in one of the photos then dont bother going to court, just pay the fine. Does this make any sence?
  14. Nothing wrong with it Terry Much like the "Cop car register" thread just with speed cameras instead...
  15. I was responding to Geoff about Sam, yes Dr Drift's name is Sam...
  16. Oh you mean whats his speciality? What he like tuning?
  17. Very sad, his family would be very distressed. Colin lead a life full fo enjoyment and sucess and of course enjoyed what he did. Unfortunatlly the son who was 5, didnt get the chance to live and thats really sad.
  18. Yeah Geoff "Dr Drift" did have a solution for the stock R33 ECU however it was easier and cheaper to buy a pfc and tune it. So in short it was deemed a non-practical exercise, plus most tuners know the pfc and can tune them well with a datalog as where the dr drift stuff is not distributed all that well. You have limited options to getting that tuned in QLD, I believe Mercury is the only place that can as they bought the rights/software to it in QLD or something like that. 2gceffy, so your just dyno'ing to check where you at before you play with it yes? So what are you asking when you say "Does anyone know about stock ECU's? As I must have missunderstood what your asking when giving my first responce.
  19. RB25 stock ecu cannot be edited, I think however the R34 neo rb25's can recieve the "dr drift" style remap chip... You could however use something like an apexi safc to map the afm's which can be quite benificial, however it depends on how far you wanta go with your car in the future. R33 owners/RB25 users go for aftermarket ECU's, must commonlly the apexi powerfc as its easy to use and very cheap in compairson to others on the market. However that said, its a bit hard finding them at the right price these days as apexi have stopped production of the ecu due to lack of supply of a certain chip from Nec.
  20. Your right Gorden, I only go out when the drinks are free or im out of town (Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns) with the work crowd. Here in Brisbane I rarelly go out, as I guess your prioties in life change as you get older, family is more important to me than ever these days. Boy that sounded like i am 40 something... Hey I take offence (now) to the bogan statement, I prefer the terminoligy "V8 loving, flano wearing, winnie blue smoking, trailer trash"
