Id be confident in these are 5 of the best places in Brisbane to get a steak, but in no particular order and im sure there are othrs just as good. But here is my 5; 1. Breakfast Creek Hotel 2. Marriot Brisbane City (Eagle st) 3. The Norman 4. Warner Tavern 5. Hilton Brisbane (next to the embassy) Out side of Brisbane but still in QLD (need 7 spots as they are all top notch) 1. Fibbers in Toowoomba 2. Spotted Cow in Toowoomba 3. Wide Bay Tavern in Hervey Bay 4. Royal Pines Resort on the Gold coast (The dinning room on the 21st floor, dress code applies) 5. Kawana Tavern, Nicol Way Kawana (lunch steaks to die for) 6. The Villa Hotel in Noosa 7. Villa Remano in Cairns (Reef and Beef is meaningless until you have eaten here)

I rate the places I stay on the food they have, yes im that shallow. I rate the hotel service on how quick they replace the soap/shampoo that i steal. I rate the weather on what I have to wear to be comfortable. I rate everywhere i stay and give very detailed descriptions to Nay when I get home, but I never make it sound too good.

Im in Toowoomba every 2 weeks for work so i eat a shit load of steak... Steak capitol of Australia with out a doubt... I went to rocky once, where they have bulls and cows as statues all round town and everything. I was expecting the best steak i have ever tasted and so I said to a mate, take me to he best place in town. So we went to Hogs breath, i mean their good dont get me wrong but I can have Hogs Breath anywhere... Was disapointed with the steak in rocky (the beef capitol of australia, but not the steak capitol). But to make up for it, they have wonderful seafood, but not as good as cairns...
