I was gonna say Dave thats pretty standard stuff for people to get final power readings... Like shootout mode is bragging rights, all dyno days are generally done in shootout mode... But then I noticed looking at the sheet Warrick has posted, there is not airtemp, intaketemp, no humidity, no data which affects the overall figure??? So I would question the result, yes!!! Like motec correction on Richards dyno, all dynos take into account air temps and so forth... What tha!!! Im sure that there was an improvement which Warrick has already said so obviouslly worth the time on the dyno... Nothing measurespower like "by the seat of his pants" feeling and "fear", if your scared of your car then you must have enough power... At the end of the day Mick was able to reduce his knock levels and increase power, so its a vast improvement reguardless of the rwkw its a winner anyway...

If things turn bad the you could get it onto "Australia funniest home videos" and you would get 500 bucks for your efforts just for it being showed...

Yeah I had my tune done on this 100octane stuff... Ran at willowbank a full quarter mile and got no higher than 20 knock levels which is fine, considering you rev to redline for 4 gears before your over the line. Then two or three weeks later I ran there again with just 98 ron and got knock levels up over 80 which is really really bad, also fouled the plugs. Has nothing to do with the fuel being bad, its all to do with the tune the pfc had and the fact we were able to push the timing a we bit more advanced with 100ron. Im considering having a touch up tune just running 98 ron, and putting another degre on the cams to see if I can maintain 337rwkw on 98ron fuel. Rather than having to put 100ron to get that power level, however last dyno day we got 300rwkw from 98ron on just 18psi so its allot of effort to push for that extra 10% power but when you get into 4th gear down the quarter and your car becomes like a flying phone book you need all the power you can get to reach the line is a fashionable manner. Will be interesting to see! But certainlly wont be buying 100ron until Shell make it a more reasonable price... And they wont until a competitor bring in some competition...

Last bill I saw was for a 10kg unit and that cost just on $90 to have refilled and that was a dry chemical one, red with the white band. I think the little 1kg/2kg units are probablly cheaper just to buy a new one... As the cams approved ones are only $39 from auto shops...
