  1. In my experience mothers of babys dont like bigger/better/faster... EDIT (experience): I have no babies so im just guessing...
  2. Yeah the guys at mazda love me great entertainment on wet days... Also were you pulling out of chermside shopping centre this afternoon about 5:20ish from the exit beside the ATO building and bob jane t marts??? If not then i spotted another white series 2 skyline looking the same as yours with a guy driving that looks alot like u... I waved but the driver was too busy running a yellow/red light....
  3. I most certainlly agree with paul... Do your turbo last... Always... You need all the supporting mods to make it work properly... All the advice above is gold... Nothing missed really... The ebay turbos are generally crap... Just poor quality china type copies of more popular units... Stick to garret or HKS or Trust and so on... All the major brands have been done to a skyline before and they all have 3 or 4 turbos to suit all aspects of driving... Suspension is very important i believe... After passing 220rwkw i started to have major traction issues and just destroyed $800 worth of tyres in 6000km's... Not to mention dangerous and hard to handle in the wet... So getting that traction to the ground is an important step to take i believe cause you wanta be able to chop it and not spin all over the place...
  4. Hehehehehe... I pulled up to the lights and thought there is a skyline ahead... Ill try and see who it is... You took off and i thought arhhh he missed me... Then you slowed down to wave... Good spotting... I was going to work so i had to make that u turn otherwise i would have continued up to your window to say hi, but i was in a rush... That u-turn does not like me... Damn car always seems to rev so hard when its wet... Weird????
  5. Let me know how that clutch goes... As ill be up for an upgrade soonish.... Mines getting spongie atm... I get my injectors and penium in 2-3 weeks so ill need to do the clutch shortlly after cause im sure it will slip...
  6. Yeah... I went past your old place... Cause thats the only way i know how to get to harbour town... LOL Arh well... He must have been a nice guy cause he waved none the less... LOL
  7. T70 Ebay turbo??? No go.... Bad bad....
  8. Hey Gordo.... Mate went past your place on Tuesday and noticed that you had some one over with a ladder and i saw you talking out the front... I beeped and i wanted to drop in but my gf was driving her s15 and she could not wait to get to harbour town... Sorry dude... I will catch up with ya soon...
  9. You may also try cresta...
  10. Due i could weld for ya if you wanted but fibre glass will be an easier job with better results... Then once its done drop down to the local panel beater and get it resprayed... Cost you like $100 for a respray of the boot if you prep it... Fibreglass and saftey gear could cost you a little bit tho... Unless there is someone on the forums that works with fibre everyday then they would be able to pinch a bit and do it for ya... I can fibreglass but im not the best... Id get it done by someone who does it everyday.... Do simething like this below... SAMPLE: Searching for SAU QLD USER who works with fibreglass and wants a carton of beer???
  11. I have played golf there a couple of weeks ago.... It brought back memories of going to the touring cars back in 1988... Arhhh memories... I saw the original ticket booths through the fence on the 5th green and i remembered when i was like 5-6 years old and going to the races to see Peter Brock and Dick Johnson.... All i remember was the ticket booths... Funny... Id love to race round that circuit...
  12. $400 for a tune pfc tune... Are you for real....? I though PITS was like 200 per hour?
  13. not if you do it properly.... BTW if you choose to do diy fibreglass dont skimp on the saftey gear hey... It can be very dangerous in the wrong hands...
  14. nah... o2 sensor is new... Just the pfc has been tuned for power not economy... Gonna get a new tune soon for more km's per tank... Just ordered the greddy plenium and 700cc injectors today... So ill put them on before the next tune... Then finally i can do my turbo.... Ummmm mid 10's here i come....
  15. Damn GTR's use less fuel than me... I get 250kms per tank.... But i do need to tune the pfc again... It does not seem to help if i drive like a granny or hammer it a bit or hammer it alot...

OK... Outrigger will cost you about $340 a night inc breakfast... I suggest the warrick as a cheaper nice spot or even shanglar there about 250ish... We went on captain cook cruises to mystery island it cost $150AUD for 2 of us and was really cheap cause there was free beer inc (as much as u want)... Heli is a very expensive way to get to the islands... Boat is heaps cheaper... Dont stay in Nadi as its a hole... You will miss out on 2 much... Its only 90-110km to all the good resorts from nadi... Get a coach transfer and you'll be set.... Then rent a car if you want to... Its unaffordable to stay on the islands overnight as i said most are over a grand a night... Id book before going as the outrigger was packed full... Always is aparentlly die to its popularity with the americans (They love skylines)... I would book personally with the resort you choose to avoid a booking charge with a travel agent and as you said avoid paying top dollar like i did....
  17. Why not just run the semi slicks on round town??? Has anyone had trouble with the coppers...
  18. If it rains then it will be canceled... No running in the wet... Otherwise it would still be on.... They dont stop til it starts spitting....
  19. The guy in the Rx7 was 'lost'.... LOL
  20. My cams licience has expired.... Oh well used it once.... What a waste of money that was....

If your flying from Brisbane then you will be flying to Nadi airport (thats where pacific blue and air pacific fly too from brisbane. To go to Suva you would have to fly from Sydney)... Suva is a nice... Suva is the capital of the country there is nothing there really... You will want to stay on the coral coast may i suggest outrigger... They have a deal that if you pay for 4 nights you get the fifth free... So airfares from virgin (pacific blue) are about $800 inc all taxes you are looking at $80 for transfers to the resort... Id suggest renting a car as thats the only way you could see fiji at your own pace... Car rental is about $50-80 per day and fuel is like 1.80 a litre so pick a small car... LOL Id do a sailing experdition to one of the islands for the day... Its well worth it and that where i got the most out of our trip... The resort is $hit hot has like 6 restruants and 6 bars... Ummmm bars... Yeah... Go to a place along the coral coast which is the south of the island... Contatc Harvey World Travel or flight centre to get it together for you cause if you do it yourself you will end up paying more and it would be a nightmare...
  22. LOL unfortunatlly RACQ dont go to willowbank for free km;s.... I got towed from the strip 2 years ago after smashing a uni joint... I had Silver membership with 40km for free and when i called they said there are no free km's from willowbank... So i said i was out the front of willowbank and i me and mates pushed the car out the front past the gates... When the tow truck driver got there he laughed as we went to the extra effort to get it for free.... In the end i did get free km's but it was touch and go.... BTW ill try to be ready for it... Im waiting on some adjustable caster rods to take the rear camber in a bit before drag racing... Otherwise id wheel spin all the way to 1/8th track....

Yeah sorry about the slow responce but yeah Fiji was good... We spent over 4 grand for 7 nights... But it did include everything. If i was going again id go really cheap on the hotel and spend your money on tours and food... I did go scuba diving which was awsome and on a cruise but wished we had more money to do more... The resorts are very expensive like we paid $370 per night at the outrigger whish is ratred as the best resort in fiji... If you decide to go and satu on an island like castaway island you are looking at 2g per night... So outrigger was quite enough... I just loved having a huge breakfast then getting a towel and lazying by the pool with a beer.... Was a great country... Would go again but i think my next destination will be bali or thailand... Much cheaper....

Hey eveyone.... Im back after a week of sun and sand.... Little burnt.... Very relaxed very happy.... I have to say i only saw one syline in fiji due to just about all their cars are diesel... Even excels.... But the modified car scene is big in fiji... I saw a car club meet in a place called sitakoa about 15 minutes from where i was staying.... Fiji rocks... The cops were egging em on to do a skid and they did... The cops love it... Here is a pic of your typical modified taxi.... This thing was a turbo diesel 5 speed thing that put out an awsome burnout in the middle of the markets... LOL But yeah... Loads of photos and video... Just thought id better post a pic or two... LOL here they are (resized) Also check out the sunburn pic... I fell asleep on the beach after having too many beers... So i had my hand on my side when i fell aspleep and this is what happens.... The last pic is of me getting smashed on 'kava' which is a dryed root that they grind into a dust and mix with water and its like a drug... After having that one coconut worth i could not feel my face and after 2 i could not walk straight... If you have 3-4 you will pass out.... Awsome stuff....
  25. Spotted a black 4 door GTS-t near Nadi Airport Fiji on Monday.... LOL It was the only skyline i saw the whole time i was there... It was an awfull car... GTR badges all over scrapes and dents... 4 colours of black paint and blowing smoke like you would never believe.... Probablly put diesel in it.... LOL
