Just one quick point.... The more jobs you have had is not a good sign... It means this guy is unhappy and so on... The saying "If it gets tough the tough get going" comes to mind... You will be asked what you have done in the past. When you are asked word it like this.... "I worked at IGA but had to leave due to a change of address. I really liked it there. Then i got on board with a garden shop but they went bust, shame cause i really liked that job also. Had some time at a bakery but found it a little too simple and I need more of a chalange so i got into a gift shop casue i like people." "Now i have made a big move and have had to leave the gift shop, but im very interested in grounding my self in your business and am willing to learn anything you are willing to teach." Anyways go something like that and you will get your first interview hands down. Cheers Col

Most QLD's know i work for Harvey Norman... My first large retail experience. Have been there now for 5 years this April. They have paid for education to this point and have no expectations of me staying. (Meaning i didnt have to sign a contract or anything) But i want to stay due to the possibilities of future employment and promotion throughout the ranks (There are hundreds of steps to the top at Harveys). I mean alot of the best retailers boards worked for Harvey Norman at some stage in their careers. I think the best 2 retailers to work for would have to be.... 1. Harveys 2. Coles Myer These are the only two with future promise in terms of growth. Any retailers in your area would be more then happy if you turned up with resume and were very excited to work for them. If you go to work everyday thinking im going to impress today then you will be noticed. Then you get promoted and so on. Anyways enough from me.

* Telemarketing will get you no where. (Low pay and no real advance in career opertunities) * Real estate is good but you need to have boobs or a property licence. Also remember the gold coast is one of the toughest real estate markets. * Office jobs in general as file clerks means you have to work all day for nothing. You have little chance of going anywhere in the future....

OK.... The jobs i have on the books will be a little too much at the moment. Also fast food joints will say your 17 (meaning they could hire 2 x 14 year olds for the same dollar) So might i suggest getting back into retail (not iga) but more like Target or K-Mart. Become a shelf stocker, work your way up. Yes retail means weekend work. But remember retail means air conditioned work and great rates ($$$) for casual and part timers. Also with retail you always have promotion in larger company's. I mean you can drop out of school at year 10 and still earn over 150k as a department manager for coles myer.... Think about it....

We cant help you unless you tell us your qualifications... I mean there are 3 jobs i can think of off the top of my head. But all 3 require a little knowledge in their fields... Maby you dont have any qualifications... But if you put the following we will be able to help; 1. Age 2. Location (suburb) 3. Car Y/N 4. Education Level 5. (most important) What jobs have u had and for how long?

Was down the coast today test driving a couple of cobra kit cars. (My gf's dad wants to build a cobra or buy one turn key)... Anyways. Saw about 50 or so skylines.... Also spotted gorden's (predator) house. Didnt look like he was home so i dodnt stop in to say hi. But i did beep just incase. Man what a day.... I thought u got looks in a yellow skyline. Well lets just say a cobra is like forbiden candy.... Ummmm

Wow allot has happened in the last 20 hours.... Allot of reading to do... Anyways... I had a 4 cyl 1973 LJ Torana as my first car.... Went 0-60kph in about 14 seconds.... Was sooooooo slow. Have not driven a slower car ever.... My nitro rc car could out run it.... Back to the point. I learnt alot of things from that car. Firstlly dont buy one... LOL but most importantlly you need to start small.... Your 19 now. When i was 19 i got my first skyline... I have to say i got 2 speeding tickets in a Pintara back in 1999 and thats all i ever had. So going of whats been said i believe you young and dumb in crap cars too.... Probablly more so cause you dont car too much... I cant say dont get one cause they are great. But maby wait till you got a full time job so you can spend some serious full time dollars on running a skyline.... I now have 2 houses and owe the bank a heap. This will be my last skyline so thats why im keeping it. My partner drives an S15 GT which was 47k brnad new. I bought my R33 S2 at the same time for 24k so i said to her i can spent the difference of modifications. She agreed.... Silly her.... Anyways i have to keep my keys in my pocket cause she wants to drive my car all the time now. What im saying is get a shitter and drive it for a while then upgrade... Personally i would get a 2000'ish corolla from auction... (7-9k)

16???????? You cant even drive it yet by your self.... Whats the point???? Id buy a nice little car and wait a while till you move out and buy up... I remember when i was 18 and wanted my first turbo.... I put my foot down and said nothing else matters... Was the happiest moment of my life... (apart from getting a set of big cans in my face for the first time.) Anywyas, you will feel the same way when you get it.... Maby wait a bit... Show your parents you are responsible. Save a few bucks so you can buy a good one. (my first one was a heap of crap... spent so much on engine and gearbox cause i bought too cheap). Anyway maby then you can step into a clean Series 2 R33... I have had 4 skylines now and I was happiest with the first one due to stepping into an icon... Not just driving one....

Just wondering what the outcome was??? Whats the go... What changes are being made??? or is this topic a members only thing?

Any new ferrari is double the price if you want one straight away.... We are only 3% of the car market world wide.... Maby that has something to do with it.... Some guy in dubai would probablly pay an extra 200g's to get it next week.... LOL

Just to get something clear.... I dont mess around much at all these days.... I was just sharing an experience from years ago that alearted me to the type of speed signs explained above.... I was not being a total clown but what i was trying to say is we have all been clowns before and we learn from our experiences....
