  1. O RLY?
  2. They would work a treat for up to and around 300rwkw But for your goals, I was thinking it might be over kill, but for the right price why not...
  3. Where does everyone get 6 months from, its a 18month course until you become a "cadet officer" then a further 6 months till your a full blown copper... But yeah their not the judge, some might act like they are. Just cop is sweet and if you get a fine you think is wrong just take it to court and see what a real judge has to say...
  4. Pftttt too much wang talk in here
  5. Yeah saw them too, they must be prepairing to install another one
  6. Wait til the flesh dies and goes all scaby under your skin then it surfaces and looks like gravel rash... Yummm...
  7. must have been high flowed in a previous life or tested at wrong pressure...
  8. i got bitten by a red back while on holidays Josh Harden up, i didnt see no fancy doctor...
  9. If its a plub back BOV yes (as you are simplly replacing a stock unit) If its atmos vented then no (as your modifing the intake with non-standard device)
  10. They renamed it to "Ford Exploder" after many 1998-2001 model explorers caught on fire for no aparent reason... Ford had to recall nation wide to replace the A/C's electrical system in the car as they suspected this to be the fault, months later they were still catching on fire...
  11. Another way to think of it; Ok, so a car has an OEM exhaust from new, you drive said car for 5-6 years and it starts to devolp an exhaust leak. So you take the car to an exhaust shop and simplly say fix it, so they then find there is a rust hole in the muffler and say no worries we will put a new muffler on. If one were to need a mod plate, technically this person above would require one too. As no exhaust shop puts in OEM parts even when simplly replacing a dodgey muffler. Hence requiring a mod plate for an exhaust is not true, as almost every car thats more than 10 years old would have had some form of exhaust mod made, and if a car were 15+ years old the entire exhaust would have probablly been replaced at some stage.
  12. 040 is all you need to flow up to and over 300rwkw... Plus thier cheap as chips, cheaper than some gtr pumps ive seen for sale. Looking at your needs, an 040 will be prime One note tho, id avoid ebay for these items go to a shop where you get an invoice and a warranty direct from bosch. (might cost you $20 more) GTG Top gear time
  13. A simply rule of thumb for you; If the car comes standard with a item and you replace it with a "better" or "different" item you do not require a mod plate. For instance i put a high mount turbo on my r33 when i had it, and no i didnt need a modplate as he car was factory fitted with a turbo. I was simplly changing it for a "better" aftermarket item, and i still included all anti-polution items required to make it 100% legal... So in short no you do not need a mod plate for an exhaust at all. As for legality of the exhaust all you need to watch out for it that at the lowest point it is more than 100mm off the ground and that it is not over 90db and you'll be fine...
  14. I could not hear my 040 over the exhaust... But thought why pay $150-200 for a second hand used fuel pump which probablly does not even flow as much as it used too when new... And with 300+rwkw in mind I didnt want to skimp of a quality fuel pump hence my selection of an 040... New, realiable, warranty, cheap and fits with minimal modification in the tank... Althought I think te GTR pump is a good idea, im hesitant to use second hand stuff like fuel pumps cause if they fail to feed enough fuel you can do massive damage...
  15. I had a 3" all the way through, it was more than happy to flow 330+rwkw So with your goals in mind 3" would be fine Due to material cost the 3" will be cheaper also... Jack B @ Redcliffe did mine for $800 inc high flow cat through to a canon, then a further $240 for the new dump pipe and wategate dump when i went to a high mount setup... They spent a solid 3 hours doing my dump pipes and joining it into the old system in the most efficent manner, I was extreamlly happy with the price after seeing the quality of work...
  16. Nothing wrong with Jim Berry clutchs... Have run a couple of them now and never had an issue... There would be less than 0.1% chance the clutch was faulty, as a faulty cutch would break within minutes/hours not 12 months... Although it might be worth going to see him with the clutch as he may hve an idea as to why it failed, he is a bloody smart man...
  17. Yeah the parts that make the "greenies" happy are usually the first to go when you wanta make solid power... However that said, id never suggest to smash out the insides of a cat as its just a good excuss for a shaker unit to defect your car and issue you a fine... The fines are worth more than a decent cat, just get a good quality one and you wont have a problem...
  18. The thumbnail images look dodgey, but once you open them up and see the whole thing it looks pertty cool... Congrats
  19. Supercharged, nice i like the setup... Looks very different and for some reason im turned on by it But as everyone said is not going to be too fast and your fuel mileage will be pretty shocking as those thing weight a bit... Not to mention they dont stop all that well... However that all said horses for courses... If you want a go fast stop quick semi street/track car than keep the r33 if you want a cruiser, comfotable, luxury (in comparison to an r33) to spare and a nice v8 tone, then swap it
  20. Yeah, but sometimes you forget... Ive run a 11.8@121mph with the a/c on...
  21. +2 I have done it twice now... Quite a few people have done it...
  22. Gold Magna with stock steal rims with goldish coloured chrome looking stick out type hubcaps Then i pull up beside and hear like shit techno music really crap destortion from the stock stereo, then i notice "apexi" and "HKS racing" stickers accross the front guards...
