  1. Sorry to intrude on your thread Chris, but I think everyones missing the point. He is not asking for alternative workshops, he wants to compair the "Greddy" authorised workshops around. No doubt Matt is a great tuner I agree however he does not work with Greddy Ecu's at all.
  2. I cant wait til someone gets out there on the road at night and paints every second line black They could not fine you if the lines were double spaced You would have to do 220kph to get fined for 110kph
  3. Yeah i got a set of wheel studs from repco was about 3 years ago cost about $4 each

  7. Hey guys Cleaning out the garage, dont need these either... There are a set of 4 S15 GT rims in my garage with brand new rubber on them 205/60/16 they are off my S15 GT which I put a set of 18's on and have never needed to go back to the 16's. These would make a great upgrade for an S14/13 or similar. The S15 rims all look the same however the GT model got the benifit of having factory polishing, so these are a set of polished rims as from the factory. They are in perfect condition, no gutter rash or any imperfections and still look brand new. The tyres are Bridgestone Potenza's and had traveled less than 1000km's from when fitted last year. Selling as a full set only $800 with tyres fitted and balanced already. (Thats less than $50 per rim when you consider the cost of the tyres) Pick up Brisbane Northside
  8. As the title says, just getting rid of all the skyline stuff I no longer want. Rims are in good condition with tyres that are less than good condition Pickup Brisbane Northside $100
  9. Ring the original owner ask them to contact the new owner and give them your details. If you dont get a call then they didnt want to sell it, if they do then you do... Trying to find it this was is impossible.
  10. After reading this and seeing the new years news head lines (the number of stabbings) im glad you didnt get out of your car... When he started calling you an asian you should have pointed out he was driving through "China Town"
  11. fireworks are canceled for GC and still a maby for Brisbane But looking at the short weather forecast it looks good for fireworks in Brisbane, plus there will be smaller crouds cause of the rain...

    Dual Hid's

I guess the obvious problem has been forgotten... Hid's are great, however they require time to warm up, they are not 100% until at least 10 seconds after you have flicked them on... Secondlly, the balasts for HID's dont really like getting flicked on and off all the time as sometimes they just dont switch back on again...
  13. "markimark" is probablly QLD's resident drfter, maby send him a pm he might be into it...
  14. The only way the clutch can make the tyres "easy gone" If if you dump it and do skids everywhere... I hear you on the gf driving thing, but a stiff clutch is a good way to keep her out of the drivers seat If you want a great comprimise, i got a Jim Berry clutch (cutom built for my application) which could handle 300rwkw easily and yet be almost as soft/easy to pedel as a stock clutch. As my Mrs could not drive the car with a button clutch in it, and my driveway shows the proof of that... A Jim Berry special cost me $800 to have built and then took a good 2 hours to pop in between lunch and weekend beers... If you cant pop the clutch in yourself have a chat to Jim about that, he will point you in the right direction...
  15. If you go for power later (300+rwkw) you will be wanting that twin plate back...

    R32 Remap

LOL fair enough In short it does not matter which ecu you have or if you go for a chip which chip you get. The most important thing it that it is custom tuned to your car. Dont just buy a "power up" type of chip from ebay, get a custom tuned chip specificlly for your car and your needs. Or go for an aftermarket ecu and have it tuned by your local workshop. Food for thoguht tho (just the way i see it); If you get for instance a Apexi PFC (Ap r32 version) you could go to almost any workshop in Brisbane and have it tuned. Some shops are better than others but none the less 90% of workshops will be able to help you with this system. Not to metion with competition and the amount of these units on the market im sure they know how to use one also. As where if you buy a chip there are not that many people who can tune them, so as such your reducing your choices of workshops that can service your needes. They could also have a monoply on the market and hence it could cost you more in the long run. Just food for thought tho... Cheers Col
  18. You did the right thing... I think its great that you posted it, looking out for the best intrests of a possible user who lost their car...
  19. LOL I will agree that Nadi is a shit hole, but once you get out of Nadi its a beautiful country... You should try it some time, in and around singatoka is some of the best resorts the coral coast has to offer... If you have the big money then you can get out to one of the island resports off denera island but their like over $600-800AUD per night, very hollywood... But yeah Nadi does paint a very 3rd world image of the country, Suva the capital is much nicer... So i heard, but Chermside shopping centre was quite entertaining also... I got in, got what i needed, got a red bull slushie and got out... Took 20 minutes to get out of the carpark and on to Gympie rd then a further 15 minutes to get away from the shopping centre and through the blocked intersections...
  20. Hey Guys and Gals of SAU QLD... I thought id take this time to say "Merry Christmas" and hope you all have a great little break from the regular this coming week... Some have a few weeks and some have a few days off, whats important is that you spend the time with family and friends and dont waste a moment... As lifes too short... Most importantlly please take your time on the roads this Christmas and look out for the obvious dangers... Hopefully santa has his sack full of turbos and boost controlers and coil over suspension for us all... Please take care and we will see you all again in the new year...
