Air con will lose a little gas each year and should only need to be topped up every 5-7 years from memory. If you are losing alot of gas and need to top up frequently then there is a leak there somewhere!

Mine sits at 7 degrees (set on 18 on the climate control) out of the vent on a really hot day. Have seen it as low as 5 on some days.

Well then he should be fine... I would go and see if there are RTA monitoring camera and what you can do about seeing the footage. Wouldn't hurt to go and speak to the local police station and find out what they recommend. Has your mate reported the accident as yet? I have never had an accident which is my fault but you used to have to report it within a certain time frame. This may only have been for insurance purposes though? If he reports it, with conflicting accounts of what has happened then the insurance company is going to have to investigate one would assume. Although his biggest problem is this other witness that claims he ran a red.

Depending on where it was alot of intersections have RTA monitoring cameras. He could go to the police and ask for the footage possibly? This would show the light sequence and who ultimately is at fault...although running a yellow just about constitutes running a red these days - depending how far he was from the line when the lights changed to yellow of course!

2nd that! I always carry a camera with me just in case.... been burned in the past where I was hit up the back and pushed into the car in fronts tow bar. They drove off thinking no damage and I was stuck with the repair bill as the "insurance company" claimed I had had a second accident or the damage was there already!!! If I had a camera this would not have been an issue as I could of a) photographed the car in fronts number plate b) photographed my smashed front number plate cover on the rd proving that it happened there!

I went to them....seeing as its only a 5 minute drive from my house! I had a hole in the window from a rock on the F3 - got home parked in the garage, went out the next morning to get the hole repaired - soon as the sun hit it cracked the whole way across and was not fixable anymore They were pretty good though - went in about 9.30am and they said they only had them in stock in Newcastle sooooo they sent a driver up there to grab one and dropped my car back at 1pm to get fitted. *** just checked my receipt and was definitely $220 fitted - maybe they made an error when they quoted me? ***

Within 2 days of owning my current R33 GTST my window suffered the same fate. (June this year) $220 fitted at O'Briens - insurance then reimbursed me. They fitted the same day too - got one of their guys to go to the Newcastle warehouse and get one for me!

I used T-Cut car polish - seems to work fine. Been over 2 months now and still looks like new!

I had IMPRTD on my S13 - got sick of paying the $400 odd dollars each year so I got rid of them! Currently got MZR33T - $90 per year... still a bit of rort though!

Pretty sure mine is an MX40 + greddy TT - these have turbo timer option built in the same as the MX80 (we have that one on the wrx). Just be careful on install that u connect to the correct side of the ignition. EDIT: hmm after reading above perhaps mine is the MX60!
