  5. Its not so much nsw needing more closed circuit's is the hunter region need's closed circuit's so that we don't have to travel all the way down south
  6. Yes its called a scramble switch . you set it up in the avcr so that when activated it will high boost for a certain amount of time . you will still have the two A and B setting of boost control but with the extra scramble high boost ..

  8. Cam84 Why dont you rebuild it yourself and save a crap load of cash? I rebuilt my 25 with all the machining work done by Pryce Engine's. He is willing to help you out with any info you require and does reliable work. I spend a decent amount with him and all the work was spot on.
  9. I feel in my own experience that road tuning has its own benefit's over dyno tuning but I will say that having 4 or 5 hours on a dyno to do the wot runs is alot safer then on the road. I second paul at Hunter Thomas. I have done many road tunes and never seen what output they have on a dyno but just from the seat in the pants feel, well I can say that it is impressive with positive response's from the owner's of the vehicle's. One day I will get to know how to do dyno work one day lol
  10. there is plenty of competent tuners in newy but they dont have any dyno's to utilize , its all mainly road tuning

  12. majority of time when a PFC is installed into a stock 25 the cold start is correct straight of the apexi setting's If the air flow curves have been adjusted then yes cold start will need to be tweaked as will the rest of the map Other then that it is plug and play

  14. fatz here 100k on a car 60k trying to make it go hard on the drag strip leaving it in 3rd because you dont want to spend 3k on log booking the POS.... Priceless my new sig!
  15. what i did was buy it a bottle of vodka and some red bull then i left it to watch red tube for 3 hours when i came back it was very very wet and ready to get freaky!

  18. 10mm toe in on the rear left tyres so alignment is doen also fixed a boost leak and the rocker cover leak and fitted a catch can this car is now so fast that even the bitches at maccas cant run as fast as it!!!

  20. have you tried to fill the cylinder with oil @ BDC and turn the engine over by hand and hopefully the oil will push out the bottom of the plug? Worth a shot instead of pulling the head off.

  22. Get a Nismo 62 deg thermostat and also get some water wetter for it too. Make sure that you BLEED it CORRECTLY . will save you a lot of heart ache later.
  23. Have any of you guys who use the FC Datalogit had troubles with some Power FC's. I am currently have a problem with a GTR PFC version 3.12B . Datalogit read the ecu but will not map trace or monitor. It also does not include some of the menu's and misses out on 1 whole section of the setting being number 4 . I have never had any problems with any other PFC no matter what type of car or if it's a d'jetro PFC. Cheers Kyle
