  1. I retract my previous comment backing you up somewhat. You're an idiot.
  2. I think absolutely everyone should wait until my car has her new engine and then we can all go. Until then, no one is allowed to do anything without my permission.
  3. lol rolzy does have a point, i didn't buy my car to go slow....however i've wanted one since i was about 10 years old, so it was more of a dream of mine to get one And mlr, you are also right. I almost got defected for exhaust noise one week a long while ago. Then about 15 harley davidson riders went past while I was pulled over. Cop then asked me if I had a silencer for my exhaust to which i replied 'yes', he sent me on my way. Two weeks later the silencer gets unscrewed from the cannon while I was shopping at indro, stolen.....lol?
  4. Getting back on topic just for a second. I hope none of you mind. According to the media, Hoons are 17 - 25 year olds (generally male), most of time driving imported performance cars. This is the stereotype that they have painted for the public anyway... My problem/annoyance with this is twofold. One, I hate the fact i get pulled over for no reason by police, I have a completely clean driving record and yet the police officer decides he wants to go over every part of my car to find something wrong or unroadworthy with it. Meanwhile a rusted out P.O.S. drives past blowing smoke everywhere. Two, I'm driving home later at night from work and night after night I drive through Kangaroo Point/Dockside (the Middle-Aged Divorced Male capital of Queensland) and without fail almost every time in main street....at least one 40+ year old bloke in his brand new 307 HSV or that idiot in his Audi R8 wants to race past the Pineapple Hotel. Proof hooning isn't confined to the younger populace of Australia. Pretty funny really. P.S. I dont bother with the v8's cause we all know how slow they are.
  5. Skyline drivers tend to crash at high speed because they chose to break the law in the first place....I'm sure you realise both our beloved skylines and the trashy commodores you speak of are quite capable of doing 180 kmph+ off the factory floor. It all comes down to the driver, and unfortunately we have had too many idiot skyline owners who have left a sour taste in the consumers mouths. Nothing we can do about it.
  6. I'd love to Mud but im in a transportation pickle at present. The 33 has the engine out with a new long motor on the way about to go in, so thats off the road >.< And my 60 series fourby has a blown sump gasket so oil is leaking bloody everywhere I have the work car but I might play the safe card until the next meet i reckon....I actually came on the Charity Cruise 07 and had a chat with Col and briefly with you when we all parked up in that sweltering heat....but that would be the last time i've seen any of you guys
  7. I'd go an introduce myself to you sau veterans but currently i have a skyline with the engine out on the floor in pieces
  8. It's funny cause I hooned in the right lane chirping all the way to ALDI where I picked up a kilo of apples for $2.31 for my retired pensioner of a grandma who isn't being given a fair go even after 60 years of public service. Where was the ACA coverage? In Beijing asking Stephanie Rice if Eamon Sullivan is hung. Media is media mate, skyline drivers historically tend to crash at high speed....thus more pics of skylines, more readers/viewers thus higher ratings, creating more revenue.....need i go on?
  9. ROFLMAO best. plate. ever.
  10. Oh wow, not good news for Sherrin But if you're in the market...
  11. Rollin imports on the gold coast, google them.
  12. Because it's buggered, common problem. Search it in the steering and suspension forum and you'll find plenty of howto's. Easiest way for memory is to buy a hicas lockbar and just not have it. It's more of a pain in the ass than anything.
  13. Hey mate, interested in the bottom end. Got any compression or leak down tests done before it was taken apart?
  14. Are you willing to part with selling the engine on its own? Cheers.

  22. Heya Guys, Tried search a few topics and threads but it turned up nothing. Im looking at buying another engine as backup for my somewhat unreliable engine at present. Anyway, i have come across a r33 rb25det series 1 motor (without VTC) and im wondering if it will work with a series 2 loom. I ask because I can buy long motor on its own without loom and turbo etc. Thanks boys
