why my x-mem was changed was due to the r32 radiator being used as the engine was pushed back right to the fire wall, theres also a new tailshaft used and was then able to use the r32 b/m/s, joys of getting all this extra stuff in a halfcut. if you want remove the dash display find the tacho wire and wire it to the tacho pin in the r32 ecu this (i've been told by a sparky) will work. its the speedo that is the problem for me?

i dont know 100% if it will or not with the r31 mount, i had one made before i giot this other info, but have herd it from a few pp's now, not going to bother with the a/c as id have to put a new codencer in, but was very tempted to try to wire in the climate control system that came with the halfcut , power steering i'm not 100% if i'll be using that as there is no set up for it on the car but have the other r30 to pip it out of, will talk to my machanic about it to see if the r32 pump will work as its still on the engine!! if we can use the r32 pump then its custom plumbing??

heres a little story of sometihing that happened to me on the way to work today! was driving my r31 rb30 N/A, comming up to this roundabout, when out of the corner of my eye theres this black blur comming to the same roundabout so i give way, as you do, turns out its a 350z fanging it. So i follow suit and put the foot down, finally cought up to it at the next lights, side by side, looked over to find this stunning brunette, :inlove: , sitting there with this cheeky look on her face, i smile give her a nod/wink and turn to watch the lights! Bang, green, got my ass flogged!! limped to the next lights to pull up next to her again looked over to see her with a larger smile than before, gave her a golf clap, leaned over and said "very nice, and the cars not bad either!" bang shes gone again and theres me looking up at a green light just looking into space. :bonk: didnt find her again, just as well as shes probibly still laughing now! P.S. if you know this women or she maybe your gf then no disrespect but your a lucky bloke!!

try a mount from an r31 is it should fit perfectly, found that out too late! i used the r32 radiator so used the hose with that! the swaybars i'll pm you for those.

took me 4 months of looking to get a set of headlights for my car, once you find a place that can get what you want then you know where to go to next time! there is the japan section here post in there to see what they say as a few members live in jp.

um a 82' 5door, 90' gxe r31 (daily driver), 84 rsx coupe, half a r32 shell and a washing machine! :aroused:

whats missing from the halfcut: rb20det, gear box, brake master cylinder, radiator and the rotors and calipers, i think the fuse box and all related wiring have been picked at by the sparky?? if there may be something you think you would need pm as i will be getting rid of it all!!

you know if you look at hr ones they are just the red glass with the circle lights, DR ones are similar but have a cover over the lights like late model r31 GXE if you know those tail lights at all!! from the pics the left is the dr and the right is the hr, i have a spear set of the hr ones that i'll sell you? pm me.

R30 parts all from a l20et inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, turbo, loom, ecu, 2 1/2" full exhaust, every thing some one with a l24e engine would need to turbo it. also front springs, front/rear swaybars and a radiator make an offer as it will all go in the bin if not wanted by someone!! R32 parts all left over from halfcut for anyone looking for standard low km parts theres everything for powersteering, a/c, front suspension, front swaybar and someother things. so if you need anything pm me as this stuff will also go in the bin!

if anyones looking i am getting rid of all the stuff i've got in the carport, r30 and r32 stuff, for the r30 theres a complete l20et engine and gear box, will remove turbo manifold inlet manifold loom and ecu all piping including 2 1/2" exhaust, l24e boys turbo your car today!! make an offer any offer or i'll throw it all! also have front and rear sway bars, front lowered springs, pm me if your interested!!

i have a 82 5door which came with 4 wheel disks and irs, imports seem to have all disks as well!

i'm just about to try something with the l24e where i'll put the manifold from a l20et on to the l24e, it should support around 14psi without any problems the major thing i think will be the ecu??

the voice would be in japanese though!!

well 300 posts thats not to bad and most of its usable stuff rb25det or de as it has been a whyll and we have lost some posts, how far back is the rb25 gear as the rb20 i had to cut around an inch! i think you may be able to reverse the sump?? the only voice warning i get is from people on the footpath!!

read the artical, does anyone know the tarmac speed record? 250-300miles/h for 20 sec now thats new underpants time!
