well as you can see the road is poorly managed and repaired, my car is over the legal ride height (100mm, i am at 110mm) and i just spoke very nicly to them. they said sent details and pictures explaining what happened...and why. they will send it all off to the insurance department and sort it all out...i mean they could refuse it, but normally one would think that they would just brush you off rather than at least say please send the details through to our insuarnce department. after all tyhey are in the wrong here and road maintenence with what we pay taxes etc for!!!

im hoping so cause my car may need to be in a movie by the 16th oh june but dont know if its confirmed yet.... at least the council did say that their insurance will sort it all out!

you will need to recheck your timing when you put it back on though as you need to remove the cam angle sensor...

um we are discussing narrow band vs wideband here...widebands are very different beasties...

wont it bee too hot for a wideband in to stock location?!?!?!?! all the o2 sensor manuals say to mount it at least 2 feet from the turbo!

well see it works like this: if you install things properly and dont do a half arsed job, then there is no problem... mine will never ever come out...

what the plx one? my plx device is just sensational. so easy to hook up and no mucking around at all. plus when i get the OLED display gauge for it and the rest of the PLX sensor systems my car is gonna be just like an aeroplane!

which model do you own and how much?

mine is a plx system which i beleive to be the best deal around. $275 off ebay direct from the US. and if you get their gauge well wow is all i can say! my sensor is sitting perfectly flat in the front pipe just before the cat. works a charm with datalogit! PLX Devices

can everyone please read the question again in the first post... we already know that 1 deg of cam timing is equal to 2 deg of crankshaft timing....it says it on the cam gear!

sounds to me you need to go through the whole exercise of 'fitting a timimg belt' to make sure everything is correct. cound be on the crank that things are wrong and you wont see that unless you pull it all out...(being the timing covers, main pulley, etc etc etc)

yeah i'll get a full one for you... the clear cam cover is from PSI parts in melbourne!

here is a pic of my gear....now i know that each mark = 2deg of crack as it states on the gear what im asking is when somesays i 'retarded the cam gear by 4deg' are they talking about crack 4 deg or gear 4 deg (= crack 8 deg)???
