yes but with the maintenance free batteries such as the DIN53LMF from century...there is a pipe that breathes to the atmosphere and out through the floor of the boot. this is how skylines are complianc ed and come from factory. if you dont have the pipe and the sealed top of the batterey, its defectable.

do you know how many kms its done? whats its history?

hey guys, i had my intake pipe upgraded with a custom one and in the process my mechanic had to replace the hose that goes from the exhaust cam cover to the intake. is there a valve in this hose normally? just wondering as my new hose has no valve in it... in FAST the hose is known as HOSE-BLOW BY, A 11826+B... if i remeber correctly you can feel a little something something in the top/middle of the hose...?

well lots really... 1. get the defects cleared...lol 2. pay the defect fines...ouch! $400 total 3. new drivers seat or all GTR seats 4. fix and finish my tune...hire dyno or speak to guilt toy... 5. fit new wheels 6. replace intercooler piping or change to greddy plenum, not sure yet... 7. get car engineered so 100% legal...that way the cops can suck my balls!

hey guys, i want to get some new seats for the skyline, mianly the drivers seat. i do some track time and the standard seat is no good! so whats the best and easiest way to go, R33GTR seats or brides or Recaros or something like that??? also i want this to be compliant to road rules etc... if i go the GTR seats do i need an engineers cert? i need to get a cert anyway but its just one more thing to add to the complications list....

just one thing to know....your front mount is not 'legal' in the true sense of the term...its only legal if you pass a free emisions test at the RTA in botany or penrith... SORRY but my comments are for NSW...

i have a kit from just jap. if you know how to install pipes and stuff, then its all good. i have not had any leaks from productfailure.... you must do things up properly though. i see a few track days a year and it hasnt missed a beat. the only problem is the length of the lines... but it all depends where you put the kit. personally i would build it myself from parts from the earl;s catalogue and get the lines spot on with all the right angles a bits....you follow?

ok just for everyones reference...300-350km to 55 litres. thats between 15 and 18L/100kms... pretty shit if you ask me.

ok so another thing guys.... whn on idle i have an afr of around 14.7-15 and i can smell fuel....but only on idle...any ideas? fuel lines have all been replaced in the last year...

a couple of updates guys (cant see the 'edit post' option) I also have NISMO 555cc injectors (pfc correction: 66.6% and +0.19ms) oxy sensor (NB) is working fine and only 20,000kms old. oil cooler has no thermostat but car warms up in 5min average plus i have almost no light load correction from 50deg up water temp and i have also reduced the 50deg up on the high load but not as much as the low load. timing is locked so that power fc sees 15deg or displays that and indicated on the crack is 19deg (but you have to minus the 4 deg on the exh cam gear, so we end up with 15deg) timing on cruise is around 40-48 deg, onc e we hit P8 and up it drops to the 30-39 range and from P12 down we go into 20s and drop down to 10s
