  1. Hi guys, so i drive an R33 gtst 1995 Series 1.5. my engine mods are as follows: Apexi Power Intake Apexi PowerFC Apexi PowerFC Boost control kit Z32 AFM Cooling Pro Intercooler Kit Cooling Pro Oil Cooler Kit HKS GT-RS Turbo Kit HKS Exhaust Cam Gear (set to 4deg retard) HKS Timing Belt Splitfire Coilpacks HPI Exhaust Manifold Xforce 3.5" turboback exh, with bell mouth dump Datalogit PLX wideband AFR Kit ok so here is the go: i do all my own tuning, i tune to the following: 14.7-15 afr on light load (basically rows P8 and less) then as boost comes on we go to 13.5 and head down to 12 afr when we hit full boost at 1bar... city driving i get 300kms to around 50 litres, thats 16l per 100kms...shithouse if you ask me. i wanna see 400kms to a city tank! 110km/h i see around 500kms to 55litres roughly and around 400kms if its 80-110km/h long distance work... i have cleaned everything, AFM, plenum, aac valve and associated parts....checked base timing (19deg indicated - 4deg retard on the cam gear = 15deg base timing) etc where do i look now??? engine rebuild...lol
  2. sorry dude, not after the circumference, just the diametre, so in a straight line from the front of the tyre to the rear of the tyre...(cant measure top to bottom with the weight of the car on it...)
  3. full outside rolling diametre and while you are there please the width of the tyre please...
  4. hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all your input. much appreciated. does anyone have stock wheels on their R33GTST? can you measure them for me please...?
  5. HI, does anyone know how to diable the turbo run-on feature of the autowatch alarms???
  6. yes five fines! $81 each! 1. battery not in box or vented to atmosphere 2. ground clearence (by 1mm on resonator of exhaust, car is 110mm high) 3. stealth fx BOV (set to recirculate, but doenst matter) 4. turbo timer 5. rim size (this is bullshit as its all about rolling diametre size and not rim size...tyreplacrd says 17", i have 19")
  7. yeah see my problem here is i was taken as part of an 'operation' to an RTA inspection station! this was done at 8pm and i went to this place where thewre was like 20 dudes all sitting around....clearly nothing better to do on a friday night...lol any my defects were issued by the RTA and then i copped fines from the copper...
  8. ok so i'll tell the story later but i got done good in mascot last ngiht....it was quite funny all up. anyway one of my 5 defects is that my battery is not in a 'sealed yet vented enclusure'! does anyone know what that is and is it standard for a R33??? my car never got complied with a box for the bettery in the boot??? also what is the rolling diameter of a stock R33 Gtst's wheels? more details of this funny story to come...
  9. what a great end to tyear today was.... got ou there at 9:30 am was just me a for a little while then an R32 turned up...couple of carbie boys trying the whole injection/turbo thing...nice 32 tuned by advan. then a little before 12 i think another 32 turned up and all in all was a very relaxed day. i was doing laps for tuning my r33 and the others were just crusing around having some fun... love it when its that quite! tried a little drifting but wasnt quite in the groove...lol maybe next time... whos comming to wakefield on the 2nd?!?!?

  12. So guys, who is coming out to Oran Park on the 19th of December?

  14. im after the bolts that hold the timing belt cover on....
  15. hey guys, i have ne of these kits and i have to say its awesome.... there are two small things i dont like,: 1, the pipes are a bit long for a skyline. i am considering replacing mine with earls lines... measure the right lenght and order.... 2, you must do up all the screw joins very tight. i had leaks where you have the thread adaptors go intot the oil adaptor for the engine side of things but once they were tight enough i have had no problems at all.... Like any product its only as good os the installer....put it in properly, check all joins etc, use teflon tape...blah blah blah and you'll have no trouble. my final comments is to actually just order the parts of your choice from someone that stocks earls lines and bits and bobs and make your own kit up....there are so many variables like where you put the filter and where you put the cooler and where you run the lines. you must plan it out!!!!!
  16. hmmmm i am liking this software if only its wouldnt bluescreen my laptop constantly... is anyone using this stably with vista??? do you have to run 'compatibility' mode?
  17. ok so i just started using this....looks to be the goods. it did just crash my vista pc though. only one crash so far....is anyone using this with vista? the latest version 3.3.2....it does have RB25DET as an engine for support...
