  1. hey guys, i was given a cusco supersingle clutch by my mechanic (he's a top bloke)! its need a rebuild, anyone know where to get parts and have it done?
  2. yeah i know that feeling...he he i had shitters on mine when i first got her...i now have 19" rims with 9.5s on the back and 8.5s on the front. much better! but i still want a set of lightweight rims (buddy clubs or similar with semi slicks) for my track days... too expensive chewing up the street tread! plus i like to get well sideways and you see all this rubber in smoke form and its like just burning money!
  3. arrive and drive is awesome for your first day... yes you can boot it but dont be like the tool porshe driver that was at my first arrive and drive/track day and plough your pride and joy into the wall....lol remeber you are not a race car driver!...yet...lol you get to learn about how your car behaves at high speeds while having someone on site to call the ambulance and fire brigade should you crash. at private practice its pretty much everyone for themselves... gotta love that ghost town feeling of oran park!
  4. what kakimoto exhaust do you have? and what dump pipe do you run?
  5. you need a timing light to set it. seems that lots of cars are different...mine is almost all the way clockwise to get 15deg btdc. i have seen some that are the opposite. start with it in the middle of the range of adjustment but you need a tgiming light to set it accurately....

  8. ok well i'll tell you my experiences... I was using the default setting for what should be correct for the nismos 555ccs: being 66.5% and 0.18ms. my car (r33 rb25det) was running way to rich so now im still running 0.18ms latency but 60% injector size correction. i once read that the factory injectors are 340cc not 370cc. has anyone ever actually measured them??? or got this info from nissan?

  14. well i put a JJR one on my r33 gtst and its great. sure the hoses are a little long but they allowed me to do some creative fitting of the cooler...the slack i just tucked back towards the firewall. i really needed a cooler as on the track i would see temps of 130deg for the oil and my water would get up to 95-100... now with the cooler fitted...well i dont know what the oil temp is but im pretty sure it should be cooler (as i have an oil cooler duh) and my water temp never goes higher than 90-95deg.... happy days... i did have some small leaks at first but that was just some sections not being fully done up... all 100% now!

Hey guys, i have a turbo back 3"/3.5" xforce system...its too lound so i need a quiter solution that is legal. what do you suggest and from where...??? i know the hitech systems are great but at over $2000 its a little out of my price range... in in sydney/botany area here is what i currently have on the car:
  20. yeah... um was cool...beau yates was out there and there was only 5 cars all up, 2 open wheelers, me yates and some nice classic porsche driver...
  21. after comming home from oran park yesterday... cop was kinda nice got a fine for exhaust to low (car is fine) and too loud...i have now fixed the height of the exhaust...was easy which shits me even more so do yours if you know how!!! i put the restricter back in the cannon that xforce supplies and well she runs like a dog now and isnt any softer if you ask me...who can suggest a new very quite high flowing exhaust thats not from high tech as they cost a mint!? also i got this new 'defect' where due to having a selectable BOV, even though mine was in plumback mode 100% and since i have an intercooler... i have to take my car to granville or campbell town for inspection...they do this now instead of issueing a defect notice. i got a $79 fine for the exhaust too low and loud and will get a letter in the mail say where and when i have to get my car re-blue slipped...what a waste of time seriously... ? does anyone know about the new 'defect' and inspection system/scheme...?
