  1. ok update....all has turned to shit and i haven't even touched the car...details to come...see how things turn out...will keep you posted...
  2. i had this same defect... there is a battery you can buy from supercheap that fits your line pretty well much perfect. you need one of the european ones that has the adaptor for the hose. you must have this otherwise the battery is not venting. the battery does not have to be in an enclosure, just needs to be a sealed one with the venting pipe to outside the car.
  3. quality of casting on the manifold seems to be quite good, need better pics of a greddy to compare. i have yet to take my current stock manifold off to compare the gasket to the vulture plenum. i am hoping is close or spot on...don't really feel like grinding... mine came with a so called stock throttle adaptor but was made completely wrong. i am having mine milled down as we speak. the thing i have an issue is that on the manifold, they haven't spent anytime milling out where all the bolts go so when you put a bolt through the whole, neither the head of the bolt nor the washer will sit flat...
  4. yeah it gets to the end and just stops. hitting it in wont help/happen. i might weld it in...keep you all postred with pics. i'm also going to make myown throttle adaptor...
  5. hmmm see mine is quite relatively loose, its easy to put in by hand...so i think i need some glue/sealant..
  6. hey guys, i have received my plenum and i have some questions for those who have done this... whith the water inlet/outlet pipe: does the pipe insert into the plenum with ease or was it very hard to insert? mine seems to be quite easy to insert and hence would require some kind of sealant... if this is how it is, what sealant did you use?
  7. so i bought the bullet and mine will be arriving inthe next few days...bought the vulture motorsport one...$535 including shipping and throttlebody adaptor...will keep you posted.
  8. just remember there is more coolant in the engine than in the radiator... youmust remove the coolant drain bolt under the exhaust manifold towards the back of the engine....
  9. ok guys, there are a few things to know here: firstly for the money and time saving just get a genuine nissan one from nissan parts. they are around $50-60. second, if you want a 'tridon' one...the part number is TT268-170. this is the 77deg one. there is an 85 deg one...dont get this! lastly if you want to waste money, get the nismo one but these are over $100 if not closer to $150 and open at 67 or so deg. you will also need gasket goo for this as there is not a norml gasket there. i use the blue stuff...works perfect!
  10. greddy plemun for RB25det R33?
  11. where did you buy it? do you have all the hoses, nipples, bolts, etc for it?
  12. HKS cam gears do not have enough adjustment to smash the valves... i have one on my RB25det and when i first put it on i didnt do it tight enough. after a month or so it slipped right ot the extreem and while the motor had less power it certianly did not smash vales or anything like that...
