Q1 - No sorry i dont have a AFR Graph - didnt get one. Q2 - Why was it tuned in 3rd gear?? Don't know.. I wasnt allowed to be there when it was going on. Maybe OH&S don't know why.. I wasnt asked about anything, i.e what i wanted or anything like that. The process was a little like hearding sheep. In and out ASAP...(thats what it seemed like) I asked him what the outcomes was like and he told me all this stuff within a minute or so and then left. That was the total contact i had with the tuner. Q3 - Axis'large..... I don't know. I am not an expert in this field and like i will probably get it retuned somewher in hobart at a later time... I can say one thing though... And this is just my opinion, I know that many ppl have left that place very happy with their tune, that is namely the reason why i went there, but i will not be going back there again for anything car related....

Hello all, Well i have my car back from the dyno after having all the new toys put in. At the moment my car sits in the driveway with the following attached to it. Power Fc Highflowed GCG turbo 550cc injectors walbro fuel pump Apexi air pod Z32 AFM FMIC 3inch Exhaust from turbo back manual ball&spring boost controller Mv automatics Shift Kit I think thats it. Now i must say first and foremost that even though i am content with the result i am not super happy with it. I will post up a pic of the dyno result tonight sometime. Ok now to the result I got 222.8rwkw on 95 octane fuel @13psi One of the things i was not overly impressed with was the way that this eventuated. the tune was done very conservatively and a few little thing occurred that would have made the result much better. I wasn't 100% sure about whether i should put BP ultimate in it... I know now that i should have but if they had have told me to fill up with the stuff - seeing as i was near on empty - i was told that i would have gained another 30rwkw (or thereabouts). Also i was told that the tuner wasn't sure whether i had a high flowed turbo. Now this would have been a simple thing to do, i would have thought. So even though i have the potential for about another 20-50kw with more boost and tuned for 98 octane, it would have been very simple and nice to just have had a bit more input into the tune.. (i wasnt allowed to be there when they were working on it) Dont get me wrong it is a vast increase in what i had but when i think about what could have been and what i payed.... to get something that could have been better i am only content not at my happiest...... Anyway enough of the dribble i will post up the dyno graph later tonight.. and probably get a re-tune in a few months/weeks (lol) Just one very important thing to add......... I have an Automatic Skyline R33 and the Power Fc runs in it with no problems, no poor shifting and nothing different to when it had the factory computer in it... like stated above i put a shift kit in it and that is the only modification that the gearbox has.. Okidoki thats it from me... would love any feed back that u guys want to post

Mines tune R34 - and yes i would drive it daily Audi Rs6 MTM - for the misus BMW M3 E30 - heavily modified as a daily fun bus...

hey wog, as stupid as it sounds, ever thought of taking it to nissan?? i mean i know that they are probably not the best at modified cars but they might know what it is if it is something that u havnt modified... im sure that if u went in and talked to them they MIGHT (lol) be able to find something... or even give u an idea of what it could be, something that you havent thought of yet, maybe.. If u want i can give u ronnie's mobile number and you could give him a ring, i think he stil works there. Thre has been big debate whether the power fc will work in an auto or not. I am about to get my car tuned this thursday with a power fc. I have and r33 s1 auto 4 door I will post upt the findings that day or the next. I have a shift kit in my car also. I have heard from some ppl on here like Dangerman and 4doorsleeper that if u have a shift kit in your car then u can run the PFC. I guess i will find out in a couple of days. If u want u can pm me thrursay or after than and i can tell u what went on.. Other than that if u need to know more have a search for Power fc in auto skyline in the search engine and u should find lots of discussion.. Ben

Finally i have saved up enough of the monopoly money to get my car tuned. and i have the bits and pieces to got with it. As my car sits now i have highflow turob/exhaust/Fmic/boost controler (manual one) /shift kit/ cold air intake. I should add i have had it on the dyno and it put out a measily 160rwkw. Mind u the afm maxed out at about 3.5k Now next week i am getting brad sherrif to tune my old girl and have got 550cc injectors/z32 afm/ after market ECU. So hopefully we will see a little jump in the kw stakes and also i will get rid of a pesky dead spot from 3.5-6k due to afm maxing out.. Anyway i will keep you posted... Ben

When i first bought my car... the first day was in thr rain and the HICAS was a really weird thing to get used to. It felt like it was going to step out all the time around every corner (hwy driving) But recently the thing has just stopped working and the dash light seems to come on all the time. I think that it is much better to drive when it is off. But like has been said before i suppose it is each to their own. -Just a strange thing to get used to though..

Well i am not sure about the type of reciept i get from one of them .... lol.... coz i got to show all payment transactions but i might go check it out... Hi all I was just after some ideas of what to do in sydney on 13th of march (tuesday next week). Our fish farm has been nominated for a food award At Vouge entertainment and Travel. I have never been to Sydney, don't know anyone there and have no idea of what to do. I am there for the night and back to tassie the next day. (not sure of wether morning or miday or what.) So basically i am open to some ideas of what i can do? or if anyone wants to show a fellow skyline driver a night out or something. Just leave some ideas and i will see what you all come up with. Hi mate, You could just change the wire completly. What i did is take the whole positive wire out and coz it was crimped so well i (not reccomended) drilled out the old wire and then opened the crimper that way. Put a new wire and and easy peasy where do you want your batery Just a thought

Hello everyone, i am faced with a dilema that i hope you can all help me with.. I have an R33 s1 4door Auto and want to get a better ecu for it.. I have a highflowed turbo and other supporting mods. It is very difficult to find an ecu for the auto due to the gearbox... I have talked to some ppl at wolf and MoTeC.. Now i cant affor d a motec lol.... but a Wolf V500 might be a goer.... My mate on thie forum WogsRus had a pretuned ecu from a jap tuning shop put into his car and gained a decent amount of umpf.. i was wondering if it is possible to get one of these for an auto (he has a manual) Some of the reasons i want an ecu are - fix my fueling probs (350km per tank with normal driving /Not thrashing) - fix a massive deapspot from 4500-6000 - the obvious tuning outcomes - fix the A/F ratio to a better lvl I had the car dynoed and it made 160rwkw now i dont want to sound dissapointed/even though i might be... But with the mods that i have i was hoping for a bit more so that is why i need help with getting an ECU for my car.. Let me know what you think Ben

Me = Keen also... I work every second sunday but if it was on a saturday that would be great any weekend.. Campeltown-east sounds good or west or north or south... It will be great to get out and do some sensible driving while maintaining all the road rules anyway post up a date within the next week or 2 so we can get planning... Hope to see many ppl there Ben
