  1. Correct, this was quoted when i had the option to rebuild or get new ones.
  2. they're pretty much identical to r34 n1's I'm sold and hes sold either way! i know that the 25/30's are a bit bigger and would be good if he wanted to push the envelope some more. but i think he will be happy with the 300 he aims for! and n1 or gtss will get him there the quickest! hes looking at getting to a similar place where i am at! which is with 34 n1's tho mine have been tinkered with and are a little larger than normal.

  4. the n1's which i speak of are actually the garret ones which are brand new for around 1100 depending where you go etc.
  5. If the gtss are anything like the r34 n1's its damn responsive! and damn quick up top still! it would be a monster on the track! (if i ever get there)

Having done the turbos and dump pipes with the help of a friend i would say its a pain in the ass for sure! and i wouldn't do it again! i even have friends who work in the automotive business and tell me to go elsewhere if i need it done! i say give your brother a hand! get a case of beer! and get yourself a workshop manual if you haven't already and try follow it! they are available to download on the web for free if you need help finding one pm me! tho there isn't one for 34gtr! but I'd say they engine and turbo things are same from model to model. i mentioned the trust dumps and front as you said you already have a cat back! and could still possibly use it! which is a good choice really! but i pain in the ass to fit (on a 32 anyway) it'd go the n1 turbos. i think the gtss would be a bit more than the around 2200 figure for the n1's you can get the trust dumps from a website http://www.nengun.com/ or http://www.greenline.jp/ you could also get your ebc and power fc from there also! work out the costs. they are both rather cheep and parts come via ems from japan! hope that helps a bit Andrew
  7. i think sau is cams affiliated yeah? if not where are you from? there are many clubs all over the place. and you want a L2S to start off with 2NS is non speed.

X speed surely saw you comming! n1 turbos can be picked up for around 1100 each. and in future will support upwards of 350wkw @ 1.5bar and more if you can get the heat down and around 400+ @ 2bar i'd go a set of turbos n1's or similar gtss or 25/30's, trust front and dump combination, computer powerfc looks like the winner and tune. shouldnt see you over $5000 at all

  13. well his brother is a mechenic and is doing the work, so that knocks off alot of money. hes now looking at doing this in a few months.

OK nice thanks for the feedback guys. oil pump timing belt hks dumps nismo fuel pump and reg 550cc-700cc injectors gt-ss turbos looking at around $5200 without shipping from nengun. and without a water pump either. say $6000 with shipping $600 for 10% if customs grabs it. $6600 around $2000 for labour $8600 in total. hows that sound?? going to need cams waterpump by the looks of things
  15. hey yeah i had the wing removed with the bits still on the boot for the arc wing i have, but i think there are 5 or 6 spoke wheels..

I've got a good friend who wants to throw money at his car, he's pretty much sorted for suspension, brakes, wheels, just looking at the motor really he already has: Power fc clutch Cam gears and wants to keep the bottom end standard. with a possibility of cams i suggested some 25/30's as he wants usable power like i have or gt-ss?? Injectors dont know which size?? fuel pump dumps either hks or ?? wants around 300kw i guess. Cheers Andrew
  17. Thankyou! i think i might get the fcon tuned, my afr's lifted somewhere from below 9 to somewhere a bit leaner get a tripod and an in car camera and do it again in a few weeks. it should be another fun night for the few minutes of running! and hours of waiting
