Should we sign up and post annoying dickheads plates who do not keep left unless overtaking?
-
they have pretty much brand new rubber on them i've done about 300km's on them since i got tyres on it a week or so ago. a few little scratches but overall good condition. RP01's? 17x9 +22 reason selling because i got volks on the weekend and i've decided to keep the volks looking at $1400ono Located in Sydney would rather sell locally. Cheers Andrew

Spotted a black 32gtr and then a grey 32 gtst not traveling together but about 2 minutes inbetween on the old pac yesterday, heading northbound, a little more faster guys and you'd have caught up to a porsche gt3or2 doing very high speeds.
-
i think i like them, only intalled lastnite the are growing on me!

i was about to loose my licence when i was on my p's.. double demerits and i think i went thru a speed camera slowly could have been 5-10 but i wasnt too sure, facing me and i saw a flash.. its now been a month and still no fine. tho i got off my ass and got my full licence just incase was going to test a loop hole but i've not received fine so nothing to worry about. i beleive they banned cars a few years back.. when i first regesterd my skyline but i didnt have a problem as it was just at the very beginning. never had a hastle with police about it. i'm sure you'll be fine

Angus Smart replied to Angus Smart's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain

R32 Gtr Again With Steering Problems
Angus Smart replied to Angus Smart's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
speedo works fine, it has undergone a 34gtr conversion. but that was a while ago and this problem has just turned up. there also could be a possibility that its normal operation, and i am just used to it from the week or so ago where i had a heavy steering problem i need someone else's 32 to check this maybe -
R32 Gtr Again With Steering Problems
Angus Smart replied to Angus Smart's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
fluids all seem right, i had a problem a week or so back, where it was oppisite of now. very very heavy steering at all speeds -
Going on my daily communte to work this morning, i notice my steering is a little heavy at low speed that it usually is. say below 50ish? then as i was going on the motorway where i give it as you do, i noticed the car all over the place in ways it hasnt been before the steering was very very light and dangerous almost i'd say. whats causing this? i want to get it sorted before this track day i have comming up otherwise i'll have to cancel.... again.... i dont have hicas, so cancel that one out. and i will check all my levels in a minute or two and report back cheers

This Has To Be The Craziest 86 You Will Ever See!
Angus Smart replied to m3gtr's topic in General Automotive Discussion
isnt there a section for videos -
dog boxes do require frequent servicing, you will also find that dog boxes and street use dont go together. how much money do you want to spend on a box? ever considered a 34gtr getrag conversion?

holden crewman ss is a piece of shit. i'd definatley dear towards a non aussie made car

Rda Vs Dba Rotors
Angus Smart replied to SimonR32's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I'm sure rda make some of dba's stuff.. unless someone can tell me otherwise. but i use rda on the rear of my 32 gtr -
this is definatley something i would be intertested in for sure! but having not ever got to the track yet i think i shall wait till next time..

Back on topic about these mystery tyres.. i went for a pretty hard drive thru the twisty's with semi wet roads i cant fault them! the only problem i have is that the 40 profile is abit larger than my previous and it scrubs a little as i didnt see the tyre before they went and got it. also i am having difficulty sliding! this grip driving isnt fun anymore

i'd love to have an autronic in my gtr, but i'll settle with the fcon v i have. i still dont see why your going to bother with a power fc, motec. etc etc when you have this autronic in your car and the smc is perfect. they are definatley not a hard compuiter to tune. so perhaps you just need to find someone worthy of doing it
-
i'd stick with the autronic. there isnt any point in wasting money on motec when you already have a really good computer in the car now..

Trust/quaife Dog Boxes
Angus Smart replied to Angus Smart's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
well i also have an offer from quaife to do the same thing but uk postage is very expensive and i want to avoid that at much as possible.. japan tho.. i think it would be costly tho wouldnt it?? -------- Well the two gears 5th ant 6th are around 4mm offset. like there is either a spacer missing somewhere, or somethings missing.. i'm not sure. i've had it at craft (when the first place put 5th and 6th arund the wrong way) but they didnt even get started on it. i probably should take it back. then the next place.. i think i might give craft another go.. they were a nice bunch over there! -
Someone contacted me about my box to buy for parts. i've forgot your number, and who you were. i'm in need of my gearbox bieng built properly. as its still not right after 3 attempts from different shops to build i am sick of f**king around with shops as its still getting me nowhere.

Upgraded F40/50 Brembos On Gtr33
Angus Smart replied to JimX's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
it never crossed my mind to look in the us for the rotor. as i said before, because it was from japan. i thought a japanese made rotor for sure. and looking at Dixcel rotors it was the only one with 10 bolt with a raised 2-3mm where the hat bolts to the rotor. but the ones on stoptech look about right! but looks can be another thing! which is why i didnt bother chasing up a rotor that may not fit the hat i already had when i get it here!! if your in sydney and when your rotor arrives from them can i see if my hat fits if so i'll get some for spares -
Upgraded F40/50 Brembos On Gtr33
Angus Smart replied to JimX's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i'm unsure of what rotor, he said it was locally made, this was from race brakes, they use the rotor on ther track big brake upgrades! he said they are pretty good. and they havnt had any issues with them thus far. i havnt given it too much of a work out yet. i only just did the rear's on the weekend. but there is a track day i smell comming up soon so they will get a good go there! but it does feel like how it was when i got the car. (rear end feels like its lifting off the ground when jumped on hard) and i'm sure they are 332x32. i can check later on for you if you like!
