Sweet i will get onto the rego in january when it comes around again! i'm pretty easy going, and polite to police i dont have a problem or a record or anything like this. if i have done something wrong i admit it! i still have the original seatbelt and just the harness is always in also. i might have to invest in a standard seat. i will see what the engineer ends up saying about it all. when i do the two seat business.. now my mate did the same thing to his srpinter bonnet. first he has a std bonnet that had no rio.. and then he got another and put the vent in and cut only very small ammount of rio out. and engineer passed that but wouldnt the other. i think the wing is the one that needs to go while not in use. it is a bit outrageous. but i love it. i agree with this, and the one above. i dont look for anything oveer the top unless thats what i am after. i look for more sensible mods.

Probably nothing to do with police brutality. just has a catchy ring to it. yeah i can understand your view, which is why i am here asking about this before a problem happens. seeing what i have to do before i head off to an engineer to get the right paperwork.

Bonnet is the standard one with vent moulded in it. so i'd say thats ok. very little of the reinforcment was removed now whats the height ment to be? and where is that measured from? air box is on its way i need to make one tho! are arc boxes legal with the exposed panel filter? becaus i was going to model mine off one of them that i have. seat i dont really want to change. wing i will probably remove and leave on only for track work. most of my electrics is hidden from sight.

OK so i'm really starting to get attention from driving my gtr as a daily while i sort out a new car. in two years i have not been pulled over untill the other day when i got back from the states. they breath test me, have a brief look over my car, and then let me go. they were just paddy wagon cops. then today i get a dirty look from a highway near my house whos doing this no right turn sign and pulling over heeps of people. i need to get some thing in order so i dont get defected. and give them any reason.. OK i have.. Hks Kansai cage, its only really a half cage but has two bars going towards feet, see photo i dont have the rear seats in either. but belts are still there... is this a problem? Gt wing i dont know if they are legal or not? i'll just post a photo of the engine bay will be easier than listing everything. my headlight thing (on the right) i figure thats a problem my wheel size is 17x9's i think. with 255 40 17 semis on them. my exhaust is very quiet. put it needs a pussy. i'm thinking of cutting off one of my mufflers and putting one in. as one muffler has a slight rattle. if there is anything i have missed please help! cheers

i'm currently looking all over for one. tho i think i might turn to japan for something cheeper. i want a series 2 and i dont really want to spend more than 15k. so the hunt begins. i need to also sell some parts before i jump in and buy.

Yeah this is what i've noticed! if all else fails i will just settle for a series 1 and try this 34 front end conversion seems you can pick up that kit for around 3000 + shipping etc. they seem to be a great car for the price and i'm in need of a practacle daily driver that i can park wherever i like with no worries. + the towing factor is what i am really after. i'm thinking i need around 15k at most on the road. then i always have a 32gtr dog box at home if i need a manual conversion (if its easy) haha

Cheers for that i think i stumbeled apon a similar one earlier on today. i can say i havnt ever seen so much variation in one car! very difficult to work out whats what really. tho it looks like a series 2 car goes for around 400000-700000 maybe cheeper maybe a bit more. but somewhere around that. which makes for a pretty cheep daily driver/tow car/wagon that i can fit shit in

specs on different models? they are not all awd are they? chassis codes and what they mean. differnece in engines. i'm thinking of geting myself one, i want a later model series 2 correct?? i think late 98-00?? not too sure when. and wgcn34 are the awd models right?

i have a large one. mines mounted horizontal (laid flat) here.... shot is from under. and its more over to the passenger side. left part is front lip max temp today was 85c which was driving for a long time with a fair bit of hard driving (i went bush)

yeah is all good. swapped over to another semi this morning. all is cured.

re: windows. does anyone else suffer cracked windscreen's caus their car is stiff? i have a half cage and mines been cracked for some time. from what i beleive is going in and out driveways

Ahh nice to hear justin good to see its sorted now! i've been away for a month, havnt been down to brads for a month or so. i was with beau the other night when he was painting his front bar and i took off my exhaust and took it for a drive with just front pipe on. and it made a hell of a difference to my problems i am having! which i beleive is mostly boost controler related also. also a f**ked muffler is contributing to my car bieng a slug..

thats what i did. put it on the rear. tho now thinking about it all. i probably could have put it on the front and removed the fuse for the attessa system

So i scored myself a screw in my semi's lastnite. and went to put on my space saver. which leads to a shit sound and slight jerky driving. i take it off after about 10km to next servo where i buy that foam crap. which in the end doesnt work too well as i have more problem than just a screw, i couldnt put space saver on front as i thought it would cause similar problem to front diff question bieng would have i scored any damage to diff? i thought it would be better to f**k a rear diff than the front. if it was to happen!
