nope rolling wont help. get rid of the spacers i got my guards rolled on the line and the paint cracked underneath ( the part the got bent up inside the guard. they touched it up and it looked fine.

tempe did my cousins S14 and cracked the paint on all 4 there is no gaurantee because it all depends on the paint every car is different. i hvae seen it happen both ways

a spring compressor is like a big clamp that brings the spring down so you cant take to top off the strut and take the spring off. you can get em from aynwhere like super cheap auto, repco, auto1. its not that hard to do

the most expensive part of air brushing is gettin the whole car flow coated after its air brushed. PM MFX_R33 about air brushing he does heaps of show cars

Brian at MC Racing is painting my car the job is worth 12K but im going for best paint at final battle so its a bit different to the job you are after. but i dont think for a good job you will get there for 5K unless you do all the stripping youself and dont do the engine bay. with harlequins and kandies and pearls etc you cant afford to go to someone who isnt 100% because they are very difficult to paint so if you cant afford to get it done right get a different colour.

i dont think any place would cover the paint from cracking because its very difficult to save the paint 100%. paint is not very flexible heating it can save the paint to a cretain extent but it will never be 100%. i just trying to gauge interest because i cant see the point of paying 200+ for guard rolling.

hey guys just wanna ask a few questions ive been looking at buying a guard rolling machine for a couple months now because uite a few people have been asking where to get it done how much etc etc. what would/have you guys paid to get your guards rolled???? if enough people around sydney want to get it done in the near future i might get one and do a donation type thing to the forums. let me know wat you guys think thanks anf

GTR is wider

thats cheap but fitting is wat kills the pocket. once again if its a show car go for the fibreglass but if its for a street car get a custom one made from metal
