2K for a full re-trim?????? i dunno who your talking to but your way off leather front and rear seats alone is worth 2K+. what about roof, dash, floor, console and the door trims (which on a skyline are huge so are worth about 1K just for the doors) you might get a shit job in vinyl for 1200 but dont expect it to feel or look good for very long. once i get my interior back ill post up some pics and compare it to a 2K job.

why did nissan butcher all of our rear bars? only decent rear bumper from factory on a skyline is the R34 GTR one.

whats wrong with chrome? adn why is chrome rice? my new 20s are deep dish and chrome are they rice? so what sow quality engine bays with chrome detailing is rice? so people are meant to make their cars look like sh!t as long as they perform so not to be labled as a ricer? i would like to see what some of you people are going to say about my car when its finished.

im not building a full blown race car and i think you will find its more the disc that disipates heat not the caliper, heaps of guy chrome their calipers on motor bikes and they still perform fine

i worked ths out pretty roughly front facing plenum (locally made) - $500 hybrid copy FMIC - $400 pipework, silicone joiners and clamps - $400 that works out to be $1300 so its not that expensive just my thoughts anyway

dont need to win the lotto ive been saving for 3 years and ive had heaps of help from my old man and my uncles. ive also had alot of luck so far with once in a life time deals when buying things for the car. only thing holding me back atm is which parts to use, not money. im building a show/drag car, so the budget is really the last thing on my mind. ive sacrificed alot of things to raise the money for this car. i cant believe things are actually starting to happen

ive never been a fan of this type of FMIC set up. your job looks great and im sure it work fine but i would prefer the front facing plenum and less pipe work. just my opinion but congrats on a job well done. i love people who have the balls to DIY
