Personally I would steer away from buying a built engine, god knows what was actually used and done during the build. However, I'm all for buying something that has a lot of the minor mods (exhaust, suspension, clutch, bolt on engine mods etc etc) already done.

Yeah you just have to remember that they are nearly 20 years old so the price of the car is almost inversely proportional to the cost of maintenance That and there seems to be a GTR tax

Bosch 044 mounted in-tank with a stock sock filter type of setup. Not a fan of the integral pickups like the 040 has.

Thanks for that, I measured 205mm on my mates GTS4 with RB25/30 and 190mm on my GTSt with RB25/30.. Have put brand new engine mounts in along with a known matching set of RB20/R32 brackets (originally had an RB30 bracket on the passenger side) but still trying to figure out where the missing 10-15mm has gone.. will be trying a new engine crossmember on the weekend just incase mine is bent or isn't actually an RB20/R32 crossmember. Having problems with turbo hitting strut tower but even if I get that 10-15mm back I still need to gain another 15mm or so from somewhere P.S. Nice slotting on the stock engine mount brackets, didn't think of that when I was having bonnet clearance issues!

He probably did but that was quite some time ago. I think it's been over 2 years since he tuned my 30. Edit: sorry, make that 18months, dyno sheet says november 2007

Just build a twincam 30 and drop it in, so much easier and nicer

GTR axle will be stronger and the diff is a 1way mechanical to begin with. GTSt has a shorter ratio (4.36ish for gtst vs 4.1 for gtr).

Can someone with an RB30DET in their R32 GTSt, please measure from the exhaust cam cover to the strut tower and tell me what they get? Cheers!

Not quite.. I got done just before xmas, was driving in to work on a Saturday and thought I'd stop past PerthRC on the way. Cops going the other way saw the wrong coloured sticker and pulled me over.
