  1. Gotta love pricks that steal cars they can't drive
  2. lol, nothing like being productive (with your own projects) at work
  3. I've got one in my Stag and in my 32. They're not that hard to use, what do you need to know?
  4. Pretty much my whole setup is custom what with the forward facing plenum etc. The funky bendy hose from behind head to heater core spigot on the firewall is now generic straight hose as that's the one that split on the dyno and didn't have to source a genuine replacement. Works fine Horses for courses though, I will have the benefit of the engine being on the stand to make up all these hoses and everything in or around the intake manifold needs to be customised to suit anyway.

  6. Where there's a will there's a way
  7. Dogbones are a bracket that relocates the caliper to suit bigger rotors. I use some on my 32 to run 324mm rotors with 33gtst calipers.
  8. Nope, was just going to get 'x' metres of hose and go to town while the engine is on the stand.
  9. Classic movie
  10. Will be redoing all mine in quality silicon hosing while the engine is out, need to redo all the ones under the plenum anyway due to forward facing-ness.
  11. Everything CEFFIE says is true. Personally, putting a 3L in my 32gtst was the best thing I ever did. Yes, there were pitfalls and yes, it did cost more than I originally planned (but that could be said for most things performance oriented). I love it and would never think of going back to a 2L!
  12. Probably the one that goes behind the head.. that one split on me on the dyno
  13. Just larger capacity? or baffled & gated aswell? Is the rips sump baffled & gated? I asked them for a price on a sump and never got a reply.. so went to High Energy instead.
  14. Looks like the bastard love-child of a Stagea and a Liberty
  15. I don't think Charles was getting all hot and bothered, that's just the way he types all the time P.S. I have one of Charles' dashmats and it's topnotch!
  16. That's for 1x charger and 1x 4600mah 2S lipo.. a tad under $400.. Lipo's are a bit dangerous, overcharge them and they burn your house down. For that reason I wouldn't skimp on a cheap charger and also, for cars you need hard shelled lipos. There is also the thing about them not being able to be shipped by air due to how dangerous these rc lipos can be (all the reputable hobby stores online refuse to ship lipos internationally). They're not like the simple lipos in mobile phones etc. Lastly, I have a really flash brushless motor.. why would I use some 2nd rate dodgy battery?
  17. My wagon is more practical than my mates brand new 60k maloo.. went to bunbury to pick up an exhaust, didn't fit in the ute now did it!! (I did have to kick my passenger out as it was a 1-piece catback )
  18. Yay! finally someone who listens to real music! P.S. Welcome aboard all you new folks
  19. Ahhh the practical-ness of a wagon
  20. Steve May aka MrMayhem, plenty of skyline and stag parts. Can probably offer the services of my wagon if you need to pick stuff up too Oh and I'd love a tour
  21. Yeah.. just don't flat-shift into 2nd at 4k in front of a cop.. trust me, it got me a yellow sticker
  22. Don't turn K-band off, I had a squad car light me up with K-band on Guildford Rd not long ago. And it's fkn awesome for highway and country driving. You should, after a while, get to know what is a false alert and what's not. K - in-car radar and automatic doors, doesn't bother me when it falses.. just keeps me on my toes. (Possibly also some industrial alarm systems transmit on this frequency too) Ka - multinovas Laser - self explanatory X - not used here. Yes, you can turn each band off. As for where to buy them, I got my Pro-78 from radars.com.au, they're in Morley and the dude is a great bloke to deal with.
  23. The good thing about a 3L is that I can shift at 1000rpm
