  1. No it doesn't, at least in my R32 GTSt the standard RB30 sump doesn't hit the swaybar. It is the extended sumps that might have problems but High Energy now take into account the swaybar in skylines for all their RB25 & RB30 sumps.
  2. lol fair call.. the horseshoe bridge is that paved stupid thing over the tracks next to the train station.. I was like htf O_o hehe
  3. Sure that's not the police spotter plane?
  4. Tyres, tyres, tyres. Regardless of all the other wonderful suspension bits you have, if you have shit tyres then there's not much you can do to compensate for that. I run Federal 595SS's on my R32, first in 17" now in 18". I have noticed slightly less traction with the 18" tyres but they are more than fine in the wet.. it doesn't do things of its' own accord and is highly predictable. There was one point in time when I had a pair of LingLongs on the back.. they were shocking! car would step out by itself around corners in the wet but like I mentioned previously, that was likely due to the 2-way AND shit tyres. Might I suggest, with winter looming, you all try to get out onto the AHG skidpan when it's raining to get some proper wet weather experience. There is no need to panic when the back end steps out on you, go and learn how to react properly
  5. You didn't specify which manifold, so just incase he was trying to palm off a custom intake manifold aswell, I mentioned that the intake side is different
  6. Exhaust yes, intake no.
  7. Surely you don't mean the Horseshoe bridge?! htf can you do 80kmh on the Horseshoe bridge?!
  8. No, I meant 13.. Close.. I'll start in 1st but it will probably be top of 4th before it stops spinning
  9. I already know how slow the wagon is and the 32 is in pieces.. I'll be sure to let you all know when it's back together so you can all come watch me run a 13.0 @ 130mph
  10. My NiMH stickpacks are dying so when I went to get some new rims for my truck yesterday.. had a look at some LiPo's.. my brushless can handle up to 3S but I can only physically fit 2S in the chassis.. it's like a $400 excercise to go LiPo! so I guess it can wait until my real skyline is back on the road
  11. Excellent work James, I will report back when I have investigated a little further! Engine is coming out of the 32 soon so will look at the rack and splice in a switch. Will also attempt to look at the rack in the Stag.. not sure if I'll be able to see anything past the diff/driveshaft/etc.
  12. Our 5 cats are all indoor cats too.. won't be getting any more until we get a bigger house or I build a bigass cat run!
  13. Wow.. I got to the level with my TT01 where the next thing to do was start upgrading all the control arms with alloy bits etc then decided not too.. it's hard to justify spending 3x the original price of the car! I have some TT01 hopups I could be persuaded to part with..
  14. I think there's two S13's in WA licensed with RB25's.. have a search through the WA section.
  15. Is the solenoid you are referring to the big HICAS solenoid thing under the intake manifold? if so, I removed that when I removed all of the associated HICAS gadgetry. All that is left is the HICAS computer in the boot.. I like your thinking with the circuitry, I'm not sure if the Stagea has variable assist but even if it didn't, could a signal be intercepted or modified at all?
  16. Like they used to tell us in the old days, take it out the back of Wangara.
  17. My stag handles really well, it's just the steering at high speed is too light for my liking.. Heller, cheers I was thinking something like a variable resistor on the wire going to the rack solenoid but now that you say it's varying frequencies that controls would probably need something like a pulse width modulator? (I'm not an electronics guy )
  18. Are they exactly the same? They both bolt up but the radiator that came in my GTSt was a single core and the GTR radiator I have out the back has 2 cores (and it's definitely a GTR radiator).
  19. I'm talking about the speed sensitive steering for the front.. My understanding was that it is progressive from ~60km/h - ~100km/h. Anyway, the MAIN reason for this topic, is to try to understand what controls the speed sensitive steering and whether it could be adapted to another car..
  20. Where is that valve located? pump or rack? would there be a way to set this up in the Stagea? Already got a lockbar along with swaybars and coilovers etc in the 32, HICAS computer is still plugged in. Would pulling the plug on the HICAS computer immediately turn the steering hard? I guess if it's controlled by the HICAS computer and that is removed then it should instantly become heavy..
  21. I fkn love curly wurlys!
  22. A proper sequential setup is pull back to go up a gear and push forward to go down a gear.
  23. I had issues about 4-5000rpm due to degraded coil loom.
  24. I have an Exedy 4-puck that has taken a LOT of abuse. Too many 2nd gear clutch drops to count and plenty of clutch stabs, still going strong. Also +1 for Hyperdrive, they tune my 30
