  1. Nice vid and nice driving dude
  2. I have a sprung brass button clutch (might be what you meant by cushioned). Different engines will differ though.. e.g. when I had this clutch behind the RB20, I needed to give it ~3000rpm and drop the clutch to take off without stalling. Now with the RB30 (heaps of low down torque), I blip the throttle as I'm taking up the slack in the pedal, then quickly past the friction point as the revs start to drop and back on the gas as the car starts to move. You'll adapt in time, just don't ride it

    Hoon

Particularly when you haven't been CONVICTED yet.
  4. oooooooooooooooo and I'm just about to pull my engine out.. must.. resist.. temptation.. to.. delay.. and.. go.. 3.4L..
  5. lol As for the sub, physically impossible for it too move forward under heavy braking and It has never slid side to side while heavily sideways either the box is generic and barely fits in the boot so she's kinda wedged in there heh
  6. AHh ok then, if it already had 6x9's then you'll be right (probably has spacers or something yeah?), stock they come with 6.5" I think and there's not much room there.. I have a 12" sub in a box and it doesn't move in the boot of the 32, nothing holding it down except its' own weight.
  7. I do mine myself.. don't need other dodgy pricks fiddling with my wiring You might struggle with the 6x9's in the parcel shelf though...
  8. I've passed the pits without one and when I got stickered it wasn't mentioned at all. If it ever becomes an issue I'll pull the lights out of my old stock spoiler and put them somewhere.
  9. Good luck! I reckon you'll love it
  10. Centre will fit, bolts that hold the crown wheel on *I think* are a different size.. Halfshaft splines may be different but I don't think they are.. someone will correct me if I'm wrong anyway
  11. Nice powering out of cat cnr there sam!
  12. The hiflow on my Stag is rather laggy.. starts doing something about 3500rpm and around 4000rpm she pulls hard. But being a big heavy auto bus, 4000rpm is far too late! A bigger stall would help but would destroy the daily drivability.. go for something smaller that's on full song by 3000rpm..
  13. I heard the limiter bashing when you left.. you sure there's strips and it wasn't just clutch? Maybe instead of bouncing off the limiter, grab another gear
  14. Nice pics and nice work Sam, I heard you did rather well on the weekend! Follow focusing? ploise exploin.. sounds like a technique/skill that my mrs might find helpful for photographing paintball games.
  15. P.S. RyRy couldn't skid his way out of a wet paper bag!
  16. Wasn't me mate, I was working so didn't make South St. Jumped into the cruise just after Port Beach Rd I think it was, was waiting in the carpark for everyone to go past Oh and my stag is grey
  17. lol yeah that's me, sorry dude was pretty belted and chuckie talks a lot
  18. No I didn't, I got the dogbones and rotors for a VERY good price and decided to put some decent street/occaisional track pads in while I was at it instead of reusing the old noisy bendix pads.
  19. Sorry dude, misread as you mentioned using an RB25 manual crossmember with an RB20 box and got me all confuzzled
  20. Have you driven the map?
  21. I got the Denso 550s in my 32 from powerflowinjection, no complaints other than the "supplied" plugs were chopped off some loom they must have had lying around..
  22. I thought it was when you dropped a 25 box into an AUTO 32, the Xmember bolts lined up perfectly but when dropping a 25 box into a MANUAL 32, you had to modify the Xmember as the holes in the chassis sit about 50mm too far forward. I used some 25x5 flatbar welded to the 25 gearbox Xmember to suit the holes in the chassis.
  23. lol Should be easily done, we recently shoehorned a 25/30 into my mates 32gts4.. what a ball tearer!
