  1. Awesome!! Denso make SARD injectors aswell as others. I'm running 550cc Densos in my RB30DET. Perfectly fine, cost me $960 with new plugs though SARD = Denso.. see above URAS, very keen to see what you come up with
  2. Nice. Few pics from the last tournament
  3. Heh.. I don't think your colleagues like my cars very much.. they give me lots of evils when I drive into the carpark
  4. Damn my 32 being in pieces!
  5. Pretty strange that it will make "full" boost in neutral.. my guess is like your guru mate, it may have slipped a few teeth and the resultant retardation is aiding it in building boost (like launch control..)
  6. Pretty sure you have to use RB30 pistons as their pin heights etc are to suit RB30 rods & crank..
  7. RB20 into an R31 is simple as! I would just throw the 20 in and beat up on it, if it breaks, then look at building a proper engine (30 ).
  8. Go new, Northside Nissan are great
  9. Off the top of my head, I think it's from the old one with the 4spd manual.. been quite some time since I bought it though
  10. R34 GTTTTTT, nice one.. you work on Hay St? (if so it's the building behind me ) I've got a few paintball markers so it's always handy to know someone in licensing!
  11. It should accelerate faster which means you should notice it spool up quicker..
  12. Is bat shit really that addictive? might have to try it some time
  13. Oh and RB's run a 3bar fuel system, meaning at idle with vaccum hose disconnected from the FPR you should see ~44psi
  14. 34 (neo) turbo will be straight bolt on and might give you a little more top end puff, I've heard maybe 10kW difference.. few hundred dollars for 13hp? might aswell wind an extra few psi into what you've got and if it pops, then replace it with a neo turbo..
  15. lol I like a good 2nd gear 5k clutch drop, lots of fun
  16. Stock.. on my RB30 and the Neo in my stag..
  17. I only get $250 and that's going to pay off ~15% of my new paintball marker.
  18. Best to get the bearings your machinist suggests, then give them to him BEFORE he grinds your crank, that way he can mic up that specific set of bearings and grind to suit. Edit: 1pm Friday here.. and I knock off in an hour
  19. No probs and good luck I had some butterflies when I backed out of the workshop for the first time after putting the 25T box in.. then painted some big lines and it was all good so I was happy Mate of mine got a box for his GTS4, we got it to the shop to find it was full of water and the input shaft wouldn't budge cleaned it out, threw it in and it's still going strong behind a 530awhp 3L Luck of the draw I guess it all boils down to!
  20. Even better! My 25T box cost me $1500 from a wreckers and there was no guarantee with that.. good thing it works fine! only drama is 2nd gear is a little notchy when cold but she'll be right! P.S. nice engine bay! I miss my 32 already
  21. I got mine from Nengun (along with some other small items) when I got my diff sent over.
  22. If it fits through the sump plug to check the bottom end then it should also fit through the sparkplug hole to check what the pistons are and for any signs of det.
  23. The way I intepret it is: I have external rear view mirrors on both sides so I should be able to have all of my side and rear windows as dark as I want aslong as it isn't reflective to the point of blinding people.
  24. My 4-puck brass button clutch doesn't like being ridden at all, period. If you ride it in any way it grinds and chatters and carries on in a rather unpleasant way. To the point where I have to rev-match when downshifting as if I let it out slowly it chatters and if I let it out quickly without a rev-match it compression locks. 5k 2nd gear clutch drops with the 3L though, loves it
