Yeah I was just trying to drum up more interest in here aswell and pretty sure it's the one you're thinking of iz

Not sure on the split of numbers but likely to be half and half of people with their own markers and people hiring. They said they will be evening out teams on the day according to what people are shooting, so there should be an even mix of hire powered markers and rentals on each team. At the moment is there over 80 registrations (close to 90) so we're getting close to 50 a side which will be awesome~! If you are even remotely interested in paintball, this should be the best day out ever! You'll also get to perve on the wonderful variety of markers that will be there and most of us are more then willing to let someone fingerbang our markers Better hurry though as there's only 2 weeks to go! I received payment details on Friday.. and have I mentioned that this will be the cheapest day of paintball that you can play without needing your own gear!

I don't think it was.. and I counted way more than 3 cars smoking it up..

I don't know about controlling boost, but it can remove/reset the factory limiters. And yes it is leagues ahead of the SAFC which is only a fuel interceptor. The way I see it is the emanage ultimate is a piggyback system that is as powerful as a standalone (PowerFC etc). If gtrken has some good results with them I will be looking at getting one

The Things I Dislike About My Skyline
bubba replied to Vazard's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I have coilovers and the ride sucks on bumpy roads but I just deal with it for now. When it really starts to bother me I'll start turning the shocks down from their hardest setting And I have a 32 GTR drivers seat in my car, I love it - excellent support for me. Left the stocker gtst seat in the passenger side for the mrs tho -
What fuel pressure do the various twincam RB engines run standard? Cheers.
-
I removed my R2D2 in favour of a stocker. The stocker seems to be loud enough and it's not like I'm running crazy boost or anything, runs much better in my untuned state. P.S. R2D2 still for sale too

It's THE Powis St carpark.. the one next to the freeway exit, there is a Deaf/Hearing Learning Centre next to it.

Hey gtrken, can you guys still remap R32 ecu's? I don't want to go full blown management until I put a whole 25 in there. If you can remap I think that would more than suffice for the simple RB20 mods.

**r32** Skyline 300 Km/h Speedometer Cluster Kits - $100 Delivered
bubba replied to Amec's topic in Group Buys
Should probably check out the R33 thread.. it's a face and then you solder something on the speedo to make it 300kmh -
What would be the benefits of the greddy ultimate in an R32 with simple mods (rb25 turbo, exhaust, fmic etc) as opposed to remapping the stock ecu?

Boost Dilemma.. Controllers Won't Work
bubba replied to GTAAAH's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I never had problems with my $22 controller, didn't have that extra hole either that has been debated for millenia. -
Boost Dilemma.. Controllers Won't Work
bubba replied to GTAAAH's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yes. But if it came with a T-piece and a knob to go in the cabin, that should probably be plumbed into the "inlet" line. Is there a means of adjustment on the boost controller itself? Edit: cooler pipe > T piece > boost controller > wastegate actuator -
Boost Dilemma.. Controllers Won't Work
bubba replied to GTAAAH's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Mine had no extra hole, never had any problems with it. It's just that looking at the way you've hooked it up, it looks to me like there is a major vacuum leak and the actuator isn't being told to open (because it's not getting any pressure due to the leak). This would result in uncontrolled boost (which you are getting) and possibly blowing your engine up! -

I seriously doubt that the "outlet" port as you labelled it should be left open. If anything, the outlet should go to the actuator and put the T piece on the "inlet" side so that you can "bleed" off more air via a valve in-cabin. -

I think it needs to be inline with the actuator/pressure source.. i.e. remove the T piece, connect the inlet side to the cooler piping and the outlet side to the wastegate actuator. That is how my ball valve boost controller was plumbed up. When I installed the ebc it was the same except I had to run an extra cabling from the control unit to the solenoid and pickup a pressure source for the readout from near the fuel pressure reg. -
Rather Serious Detonation After 10mins Driving..
bubba replied to bubba's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Never thought of the AFM! maybe I left gunk on there when I tried to clean it months ago.. any trick to not leaving any residue with carby cleaner? And do all RB engines run the same fuel pressure? -
My bad.. I didn't look close enough.. I was distracted by that huge snail

Rather Serious Detonation After 10mins Driving..
bubba replied to bubba's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I was thinking the fuel pump too but someone had told me that would cause it to misfire, I think that would be a worse case scenario when it's just about to die. What about the fuel pressure reg? do they ever shit themselves? Spose I'll just get it on a dyno and have a professional check it out o_O -
Where do I start?! Car is an R32 GTSt, minimal engine mods: 3" catback and split dump (standard front pipe and cat. for some stupid reason), pod filter, profec b spec2, oil cooler (in front of radiator), fmic and gtr radiator (twice as thick as the one I had which I was told was a non turbo radiator!), stock ecu and timing was checked. Has been a problem for a while now but what with breaking my gearbox it's been a while since I've put my foot down. Here's the situation: Start car, let car warm up. Goes hard on stock boost and if I turn the controller up to 12-13psi, no problems. After about 10mins (sometimes sooner if I'm giving it a hard time) it will start to ping, mainly in first and second and mostly when I get on the gas hard. If I roll onto boost in 3rd on the highway it won't ping (that I can hear anyway). It is noticeably worse when using the ebc to run stock boost but holding the wastegate closed till 9psi than running with the boost controller off. With the ebc on, it is so bad it almost sounds like a squealing noise (hence I thought it could have been the new clutch) down low then slows down to an audible pinging noise towards the higher revs (not that I ever let it get that far after I realised it was pinging!) The obvious first step is to properly shield the pod, but can it really cause this sort of detonation? The next time I think would be relocate (or remove) the oil cooler to somewhere other than in front of the radiator.. temp needle sits between 1/2 and 2/3 so I put a gtr radiator in that was thicker and nicer than what it was replacing, with no effect. Someone suggested that the radiator wasn't seeing much cool air with the fmic in front of the lower half and the oil cooler in front of the top right corner, so next service I will look at relocating/removing it. Tried raising the back of my bonnet to let some hot air out and went as high as I could with the original bolts (which was only about 5mm), so need to get some longer bolts and some square tube instead of washers. Lastly, could it be the fuel pump dying? Edit: there is also no heatshield on the dump pipe, it came like that but I think that whoever installed it couldn't get the standard heatshield back on.. Cheers for your patience and any opinions/ideas on where to start would be greatly appreciated

Ahh looking at how that front suspension compresses on impact brings a tear to my eye. Can you say, hard landing??

I love it when bling comes before practicality O_o

Problems With Car After Bolting On New Turbo
bubba replied to jimbo88's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
milky stuff in the radiator is bad mmkay.. usually means there's oil leaking into the coolant galleries from busted head/gasket etc -
Why not find someone near you that can remap your stock ecu? can be done with r32 gtst's and would be leagues better than a piggyback fuel controller.
