  1. I've been door to door with a R32 GTSt before and there was nothing in it. However it was an automatic, so that's what probably evened up the race.
  2. Thanks Adrian, I'll try a find a number for them, you don't know how much they charge for a port and polish do you? Do you think it is worth the money to get done, or will the gain be pretty minimal. As there's a company that usually advertise is zoom, that say gains can be made of up to 40% on turbo engines, however if I can only get a 5% gain it might not be worth it. Cheers, Ryan
  3. Does anyone know where to a RB25DET head ported and polished, in the wollongong/sydney region? I'd like value for money, and preferably someone that's had some experience working on Skyline heads. Cheers

  5. Well Slip, I've already converted the hubs, brakes and diff to GTSt type M spec, and the gearbox in a GTS25 is the same as that in a GTSt... The only thing separating my car from a GTSt is the engine. You're right about resale, but I wouldn't be doing all this to my car if I planning on getting rid of it. Ryno
  6. As you know genesis, I've had my car for 4 years now, so I'm kind of attached to it... After the conversion it will have more power than a R32 GTSt because as you know the 32 didn't come out with the RB25DET. With 150 kilo's less weight than a R33, but the same engine, she should go alright. The engine is due for a recondition now anyway, so with only a little bit extra money, I'm getting a lot more car!

  12. The inner core is still alloy... It is carbon wrapped, for added strength and looks
  13. Yeah genisis, I've got a nice Carbon fibre one, I haven't noticed a huge difference in handling, but it sure does look the part! Ryno

The PCD is 4 x 114.3, and as you know the standard wheel is 15 x 6.5 I have 17 x 8's on mine, and that's about as wide as you can go (it's that close on the front, that if the tyre picked up a dog's hair it would probably rub). So the safest option would be 17 x 7.5's with 225/45R17 tyres... Hope that helps

  17. Yeah, I definately recomend swapping to five stud - the four pot brakes are a descent improvement, but swapping the rear diff to the GTSt R200 LSD has been awesome. Far better traction out of corners and off the line. The R32 GTS25 goes bloody well, because they are light and have a fair amount of power. But I've had the car for just over 4 years now, so it's about time I sorted the motor out and got some real horsepower. Ryno

  19. Hey genesis, I've got the same model also, except mines a 1991 and is Gunmetal Grey... I've replaced the exhaust with a 2 1/2 inch system including Kobe extractors. Also swapped the hubs, brakes and diff, to GTSt spec (5 stud) and I've put 17's on it. When I get the money together I'll be dropping a RB25DET into it, and she should really hammer! Ryno
  20. What model is the R33 that he's going to cut in half? I'm after a R34 GTT half cut (NEO RB25DET), but will take a R33 GTS25t half cut, if it has low kays
  21. Sump Baffels? Wtf? Anyone had the ignition module (black box on top of the engine) die on them? I've got similar engine skipping problems, and after trying everything else, I'm thinking that may be the cause
  22. What would you charge for everything I need to do the conversion... Guards, liners and indicators? Cheers
