  1. I have an Extreme 9 puck cushioned button clutch in my R32. It is excellent, and definately worth the extra $100.
  2. Hey Flynlo, I'm very interested in you bumper support bar, and have PM'd you but recieved no reply. What price are you after for it? Cheers
  3. Let me know what he's selling them for, it may be worth me swapping from my hap-hazard setup. Cheers, Ryan
  4. The volume of the R34 cooler is 50% larger than the R33 cooler. I found getting a R34 cooler to be a worthwhile mod, as I didn't have the spare cash to go for a full front mount.
  5. Do you have the front bumper support bar available?
  6. The biggest drama is the wiring. With my conversion, because the R33 has the battery in the boot (and the R32 has it in the engine bay) the two looms had to be wired into each other - not an easy job. Everything else in the conversion went really well, the engine dropped straight in and bolted up to my R32 gearbox. I've got a R34 GTt side mount intercooler fitted, which was a struggle to fit in the standard location, but (because you are changing turbo's) I imagine you will be fitting a front mount anyway.
  7. I have a GTSt bonnet you can have for free, however it has a smallish dent on the front and some stone chips.
  8. Does the catch can have anything inside it to condense the oil vapour?
  9. I've got a grey one you can have for free, pity you're in Melbourne.
  10. John what deal will you be able to do, including the intercooler and piping?
  11. If you can let me know a price including delivery, I will compare that with what I can get one for in Sydney. Cheers.
  12. Hey Memph, Do you still have VVT on the new engine, while running the RB20 computer?
  13. I had the same problem after the RB25DET was installed in my car. I believe it is because the speed signal hasn't been wired into the HICAS. Given that your speedo has now failed I would say it has to be a problem with that speed signal input. I disconnected one of the plugs (the smaller one) from the HICAS computer. This has disabled the HICAS and prevented the light from illuminating on the dash. However the steering is still slightly heavier than normal.
  14. Yes, as my car was a R32GTS25 before hand, I went from 95 rwkw to 165 rwkw. I love the power to weight it now has, and with the RB25DET on board it will be relatively easy to get more power if desired. I'm the same as you in that I do not like the look of the R33, and am very fond of my car (as I've had it for about 5 years). In hindsight though I could have sold the car (before the engine change) and used the cash I would have spent on modifying to buy a R32 GTR.
  15. It cost me around $6500. But you could probably do it for as little as $4000. My costs were: Engine & Loom: $1900 Turbo: $600 Computer: $200 CES Front dump pipe: $650 Extreme Clutch & Lightened Flywheel: $1100 Adjustable Exhaust Cam Gear: $200 R34 GTt intercooler: $250 Auto Elec: $650 Mechanic: $1000
  16. Thanks for your input Dave, I was thinking the exact same thing about having no speed sensor signal to the ecu - as I also have no speed cut at 180kph. Unfortunately I wouldn't no where to start trying to find the Auxiliary air valve, but at least I'll be able to give the Autoelec a heads up if I get a chance to drop it back in.
  17. I'm after one of these for a resonable price in the Sydney/Wollongong area. I'm not fussed whether it has the Automatic spoiler attached or not.
  18. I had these same drama's when I dropped a RB25DET into my R32. The Autoelec's bill was around $650. The engine now runs fine, however I still have these drama's: * No Cold start * No idle step up for Aircon * No HICAS * Front spoiler doesn't come down at speed It's frustrating, because the engine dropped in with no hassles at all. The electrics however have proved to be a nightmare.
  19. I put a RB25DET series 2 motor, into my R32 12 months ago. At the time it was running stock boost, and achieved 155 rwkw (a good step up from 94rwkw). You power figure will depend on how much boost you want to run. The thing that I love about the new engine, is the response of the series 2 turbo - I'm at 9psi boost by 2500rpm.
  20. GTR Bonnets are fairly easy to come by at the moment (as many guys with GTR's are swapping them for carbon bonnets). Just search the for sale section on this site they seem to pop up regularly. There is one for sale at the moment for $500. Be aware though, that you will have to buy the GTR Bonnet latch system, or modify the GTSt one to make it latch. You will have a harder time finding the grille, your best bet is a parts supplier (like GTR shop in NZ) and they usually sell for around $200. Otherwise they do sometimes come up in the for sale section (usually when wrecking a GTR).
  21. Bugger, if you weren't so far away, I'd take it off your hands in a heart beat
  22. Sorry mate, the extractors have been sold
  23. Are these still available? I have had no reply to my PM
