  1. Yes please!! [email protected] GTR one would be nice. Any one got a RB30 one
  2. So you going to hook us up?
  3. A Stock car breaking a driveshaft... what the hell. I have done consistent low 12's with a stock clutch.. brand new but still stock. Hey even my brothers GF has done consistent low 12's in his GTR and a stock clutch.. Say 12-13psi, on stock 225/50/16's and a mid rpm range clutch drop (depends on track) easy low 12's every time. You have to know how to change gears fast though, changing like an 80yr old woman will not give you fast times.
  4. Just get rid of it.. easy and a lot less weight Billet alloy one is nice
  5. Ah I see, i forget about the solenoid. I have ran all my EVC boost controllers with pressure post intercooler from the pleenum. This is on a GTR. On GTS-Ts etc I had always ran them pre intercooler It dosn't really seem to make any difference. I would just take the pipe that supplies pressure to the solenoid (the other one will be a bleed) even if it is post intercooler. But if you are really worried about long pipe length and the EVC not getting the signal fast enough.. just tap into your intercooler pipe. Drill a hole.
  6. Should be able to do low 12's on a stock R32 GTR with exhaust and filter. 12psi or so. If you can't your being to gentle
  7. Well obviously you have a stock turbo... and the stock turbo has to have a wastegate.. this wastegate has a pipe the gets pressure, normally off the side of the turbo compressor housing. This is where you take the pressure for the boost controller. Then the out of the Boost controller goes to the wastegate.
  8. I ordered some parts.. got them 3 Days later and at a great price. Know of a lot of others that have delt with him and no problems!
  9. Where would your waste gate normally get pressure from? that is where you T in the pre intercooler. Post Intercooler, anywhere on the head with pressure.. there are dozens.
  10. Yeah as trident said.. it has to be able to move with the steering wheel. I actually had a button on top of my gearstick
  11. Should have enough wire to move it to somewhere more useful. If not, shouldn't be hard to add more. As for a steering wheel switch, you just need a on/off type switch and to join it to one of the 2 wire plugs on the back of the EVC (i forget which one of the 2) When they are connected it will set off pass mode.
  12. Yep 2530's really are great turbos!! I have seen 400rwkw's with them and stock bottom end. Av Gas.
  13. R33 Cluster will not fit into the R32.. unless you make it fit. I think electric is easier, as an auto elecrtician can always make the signal work, and convert it to MPH quite easily. Can also be setup exactly right for your tire size and diff etc. Could always just do a complete custom cluster setup..
  14. I have the problem of having an electric speedo and cluster. But you can use a proximity sensor and hook it up to the drive shaft etc, and adjust the signal to work with the electronic speedo.
  15. There is a lot of random crap in here.. that's why people are making PDF's to explain all this info I will add all my info when done on the RB30DET with RB26 head.
  16. Yeah my dyno guy said he can get it run it fairly quick on the dyno.
  17. I will be towing my car to the dyno and then getting it to run correctly.. With a custom engine and a New Computer.. it's never going to run right first time, and will only hurt it driving it around untuned. At least on the dyno you can monitor everything.
  18. I know of a few people here running there cars with no idle valves and all that other crap under the intake manifold. Seem to run fine. I have removed it all from my engine, makes it so much tidier.. and those valves usually play up anyway
  19. Engine is not in yet. Not far away now. I know it won't fit.. so I am going to lower it as much as possible, remount the sway bar (or make a custom sump to clear) and possibly make a custom bonnet.
  20. I have MSN if it makes it easier. [email protected] Couldn't really say how much it all cost. I basically bought a GTR and took the bits I wanted and made the car stock again.. so didn't buy parts brand new. That is a custom Subzero Manifold. Actually a Split pulse designed for a T88 etc.. I am just using a small turbo at the moment so have an adaptor. All depends what you do to the engine. The GTR head has ended up costing me quite a lot more for no real gain. But I wanted the 6 throttles etc. Needed all new valve guides and had to be planed.. as it was not a stock head. (engine place should have told me that first... ) Single Turbo is easier and cheaper if your going larger.. TT would be better for a street car though. I am using a GTR loom as it is a GTR head. Best to go with the loom to match the Head. I will be running a PowerFC. I have added trouble with installing all this into a S13.. must be loopy. :headspin:
  21. And one of our old cars makes that power with a chipped ECU and stock bottom end. Its all about the installer and tuning.. which there was none of down here for the autronic
  22. Yeah but still a slight gap.. well with the GTR top cover there was for me.
  23. I didn't find the Autronic that great.. but probably due to the support over here. No one could get it to run with the GTR.. Even a Link did better...
  24. I would like to know about electric fans also. As I have to run them with my setup.
  25. Just need to fit the Skyline part from another RB block so that the adaptor seals. I have done this. I have a HKS oil cooler with remote filter mount etc.
