  1. I'm just looking for the adjustables I sell through work.. The fit is fairly universal and they come with different spring rates as well as having adjustable damping and spring preload so initial spring rate shouldn't be too bad. The Stagea is quite a tank however.. 1600+KG dry.. I just mean for fitting though, a GTS-25T setup should bolt in?, not worried about anything else.
  2. Not only that it will mess around with the engines "Squish".. so may have negative effects..
  3. GT2530's, cams, 720cc injectors,oil pump, ecu (good tune), intercooler, clutch, intake, exhaust.. Stock crank, pistons and rods. (best to upgrade them if you want it to last as well as the box.) Running an OS box and holding 3rd (big revs..) And some good driving can get you there. Without stripping the car also. Need about 400kw at the wheels. Seen low 10's with this setup + slicks and fuel pump upgrade. Doesn't mean you can just bolt on all those parts and do it easy, nothing is easy.
  4. So the suspension is the same as an R33 GTS-25T? Both Eye front and back? What is the difference between R33 GTR and GTS-25T front's? I'm sure aftermarket adjustables would fit the front for both models? as for the rear the difference is the GTR has a fork? Would this also be the same for the RS4 Stagea?
  5. Those big clamps are cheap too if you get them from an engineering supplier. $5 each for the full stainless I have seen some very fancy ones also.. speedtech here in NZ sells them.
  6. It's just an engine, it has been painted, and it dosn't have the intake pipe to the throttle body.. But it has an ignitor pack (little box as cameron called it.) so it is a series 1 which I worked out after making the first post about 10seconds later.. Just dropping it into a GXI for someone.. only wires that look different are the under dash ones it has a multi junction where the earlier nissans have a smaller plug. Anywhere on the net to get the diagram from the RB25T looms, not just engine loom?
  7. It can only work if the pump can supply the flow to keep it at that pressure.. you are also going to increase the fuel right through the range.. so it will run rich and horrible off boost.. Best to just upgrade the pump, or T in two if you want a cheap way..
  8. Is there any way to tell by looking at the engine if it is a series 1 or 2. I know the ECU is different and one has a ceramic turbo while the other has plastic. Can you tell by looking at the VVT?
  9. Hey SK, how did they reattach the clutch plates, and what material? No one down here has the 1mm thick plates.. or know how to attach it?

  12. Yes I believe Exedy can make new clutch plates for the OS clutches. Sorry I have never had it done. I was told it's the cheapest option though.

  14. There is a GTS-T with the RB20DET running high 11's here.. it really hasn't got that much done to it. Running Micky Thompsons.
  15. Hmm.. I think it's too uneven. The front need to be flared out more or something, looks wrong.
  16. The ATF is used in the Transfer case on the GTR box (at the rear of the box) The gearstick enters this part of the box, and it is quite smelly if there is a leak. The front of the box is for the gears, and will use a manual gear oil (redline is good) If you filled them around the wrong way, or used one oil for the whole box.. it would need to be flushed. And $50 to replace the inner boot.. bit steep.
  17. You should get into the 13's, all about getting off the line, or you could run a 15. Sometimes more power + RWD on street tires means slower times

  19. It depends how it failed.. quite often I see them not working right, or the pressure pipe has blown or split.. this certainly makes the car lean out. I can't see it failing and holding more pressure, making the car rich?
  20. Wow. List mods to GTiR and GTR? This is no stock GTiR though is it..
  21. yes wrxhoon, but we can't compare every car and it's mods as it comes down to so much. Tune/Driver etc. I have seen a car with 2530's running low 10's on the stock bottom end.. just like I have seen cars with N1 turbo's and a PowerFC running mid 13's.
  22. I have seen a twin throttle body setup on a GTS-T... big waste of time.
