  1. Is it just me or is anyone else seeing those vids in slowmotion?
  2. Looked worse than it was. Running E85 makes condensation form in the catch can and lines. Therefore the oil sits on the water. What came out was water and oil. About 100mls or so. I was on the limiter for about a full 10 secs though
  3. Great day overall, Good coarses and plenty of room. Skids good, blowing oil out the catch can bad. Next time i wont be so limiter happy Any vids of the noisy car?
  4. The .82 wont be that much laggier. GT35Rs hit full boost at around 4300-4500rpm. My 3076 is a .82 at hits 25psi at 3800rpm. If you are only aiming for 270rwkw then the .63 is a good choice. With the manifold your cheaper option will be the stainless china jobbies. The best ones ive seen are Tune Agent slash GCG type ones. Then there is ETM or 6BOOST for the custom steam pipe ones. A little more expensive but worth every penny. To my understanding that funnel is to keep the spool noise down a little and to funnel the direction of incoming air.
  5. Tough one mate, might hold might not. To be safe i would get another block and start again, especially if you are spending alot of time and money on it. Sorry.
  6. I would stick with the stock one mate. Installing an aftermarket cooler will actually make the engine a little less responsive due to the longer pipework.
  7. One thing ive noticed is condensation in my oil catch can and lines. I assume this only happens during warm up and dries out as the engine get hotter. So far i have about 2 inches of water in my catch can, with about 5mm of oil sitting on top. Its a pretty good indicator to see how much the engine breathes (not much ) Ill be pulling the can out in the next service to have a look see. Also a friend of mine has just turned key on a big RB 2530 engine (on E85) The exhaust is all new too and we can see very light surface rust inside the tip. No carbon though
  8. Everyone i know who has a 360 has had it fail atleast once. Love the PS3
  9. Anyone play GT5 Prologue online? Been plying online for a few weeks, keen to see some SAU'ers on there.
  10. Yeh Paul there has been a few. Power and torque level is fine for the moment, bloody handful as it is Got some footage you would be interested in 2 words: Power skid
  11. Double post.
  12. I guess its the luck of the draw. You could bash the limiter all day long for 10 years and not have a problem. Then again you could have the pump fail with your grandma behind the wheel. Fingers crossed!
  13. Hi all, Im after a R34 GTT VCT Sensor/Solenoid. If anyone has one let me know, need one urgently. CHEERS
  14. That really really sucks! Very sorry to hear. I will now pray every night that my N1 oil pump holds together as long as its on my engine. Good luck with the fix!
  15. I have a set, been in the car about 10,000ks. No cracks but slightly discoloured. $499 Delivered firm.
  16. From the HPI DVD series (awesome DVDs) That car ended up making 300rwkw.
  17. I got defected on Saturday, i and plenty of my friends noticed a very big police presence everywhere we drove. Must have been a huge blitz on. My defects were minor and will be cleared this week. Sounds like you got raped Paul Im looking to get my whole car engineered (including emissions) Just for reference: http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/noise/vehiclenoise.htm
  18. I have one, just the pump. $60 delivered.
  19. $100? and ill get them picked up via courier next week.
  20. That will all be hidden by a custom airbox which is getting made as i type
  21. Each Speedflow fitting is between $25-$60, depending what kind of angle you are after.
  22. Purely for looks. However the expensive part will be the fittings.
