Just an update for the Sydney folk.
United at Rozelle is the only servo in Sydney that will be supplying E85 from the pump.
I called Manildra head office and they told me that they are no longer supplying E85 to the Enhance service stations.
I asked why and he said "There is a reason, i just dont know it"
I even went to the one in Dapto and it looked like they had been out of it for some time.
The guy at Manildra said i can order it in 200L drums for $400, so i said no thanks ill just go to the United in Rozelle from now on.
Because of this news i have upped my storage to 200L.
I do not know what bulb type your car car has, you will have to check and let me know.
Fog light can have HID they are usually H3C but again you will have to check and let me know.
I have an extra Philips H1 6,000k kit on hand for immediate shipment.
The wrong one was ordered so needs to be sold.
Suits all R33 GTST skylines.
$220 Delivered.
I have used HIDs in all my cars over the past few years and never had any discolouration problems at all.
Heat is what causes discolouration and you are more likely to get it from high wattage halogens IE: 50w onwards.
Vega Diamond HID now available in all colour temps and bulb types.
$199 Delivered.
Special colours like green, pink, purple, yellow and bright blue also available for an extra $25 (Show and off road use only!)
I had the guys at the shop look over everything for me, they said all looked fine. Im thinking ill try a 5" body cat.
Not sure how to measure it Anth, but i agree the system should support well into the 300s easy.
Manifold is a 6BOOST item. Im leaning towards the turbo itself. With the extra timing and boost added for the E85 tune id say the turbo is almost at its MAX.
Some will say you can get more out of it but my tuners dyno reads lower than most.
Maybe its GT35R time
Hi Ben,
I will find out if the D2Rs come in Bi-Xenon for you.
I have supplied a few D2R kits, if you want the connectors eg: from the ballast to the globe it is an extra $20
I have not had anyone PM me about any extra parts needed except the people who do not have the connectors already.
Hi all,
After i had my car tuned on E85 we could see that boost was dropping higher in the rev range.
After trying various things to keep the boost steady we determined it was too much back pressure in the exhaust system (even with a screamer)
I have since plumbed the screamer in and now boost has dropped again (21psi to 18psi) which i think confirms the fact that the back pressure is reducing the boost in higher RPMs, now that the added gas from the wastegate is joining the exhaust system.
What can i do to reduce the back pressure in my exhaust system??
I was thinking the turbo is too small for my setup and was considering an upgrade.
Yes they are 6000k.
There are grommets on the HID wiring so you wont have a hole, the grommets fill it up.
No cutting involved, straight plug and play.
And yes H11 are available.
