  7. Having looked into this also i have a few tips. Make sure the projector you buy has a good cut off, also looks cool if the cutoff has a blueish break and not a yellowish one. Thats why alot of people doing a retro choose the projectors out of say Honda S2000 or Lexus vehicles, as the quality of those projectors are very good. Look on ebay for them, there are alot. Looking at that link im not sure that projector is of high quality. The last thing you want to do is go through the BIG task of a retro and be disappointed with the results for the sake of saving $100. There are companies out there that do retro fits (albeit expensive) the quality of the finished product is outstanding. I was going to send mine out but the US dollar fell through the floor and was not worth it in the end. EDIT: If you have a series one you could just buy the Series 3 GTR headlights. They fit straight in to the series 1 GTST with slight mods to the tabs. Would be far easier to do than a full retro.
  8. Yeh doesnt look good to me. looks like the bead is about to pop off the rim.

  10. I had water get into my AFM once. Engine sounded like it was going to grenade, but after all the water dried everything was fine. Park the car in a garage for a few days let everything dry out. See what happens.

  12. I have RS-R on my 17s. Absolute awesome tyres for the price. Though i do not drive the car much on them. So im not worried about the wear.
  13. My nankang NS2s lasted 3 laps at Eastern Creek (drifting) does not come apart in chunks, more like small slivers.
  14. Firstly workout what you want from the engine. Good responsive power Or Big power with some turbo lag. For the RB25 i would recommend the GT3076. Can achieve high horsepower with nice response.
  15. Seems like the United at rozelle is still selling it. I called the servo and from what i could understand (literally) from the attendant, its still available. Looks like im up for a bit of a drive today lol
  16. I would say so. I think its a bloody conspiracy. Now that people have shown that cars can run on this stuff with no problem, and making big ponies with it. The petrol companies are scared that this will affect their bottom line seeing as only 15% of petrol being used. Pisses me off to the max if this turns out to be the case!!!
  17. SHOCKING NEWS!!! E85 will no longer be available from the bowser!!! Went to both Enhance servos and they said E85 wont be available until further notice. Apparently the bowsers are calibrated for petrol (derr) But due to E85s different chemical makeup the calibration gets thrown out of whack. So 1L is not exactly 1L. The petrol companies have brought this to the governments attention, so from now on E85 is only available in 200L drums. And get this, the price is $500 per drum (due to extra shipping and handling costs) Farkin pisses me off!! There is a petrolchemical company that can supply the drums but at $2.50/L and at $500 at a time i think ill parking the car until i can get some sort of hard evidence that this is all true. Ill keep you all posted.
  18. ProfecB 2 is the best bang for your buck EBC out there.
  19. I too made the same mistake. 26 are square, 25 are round. Except my engine mounts were $500
  20. Was thinking the exact same thing, would have been on for sure Man i hate Sydney roads! If there were roads like that here my fuel bill would be in triple figures Nicely edited!!!
  21. An ECU for sure. Dont even bother with anything else. Haltech E11V2 FTW. But will need another $1000 to get one. Or you can try and find a nice PowerFC for a little cheaper.
